Akers Ellis Real Estate recently recognized Kathleen DeWitt as our 2016 Sales Person of the Year! Kathleen’s award follows her successful sales year in 2015 when she shared the honor with fellow real estate agent Gus Bright. With two consecutive years of stellar sales, Kathleen is a top leader in our agency.

Kathleen started her real estate career in 2012 after working for Kiawah Island Golf Resort for over a decade. During her tenure, she managed properties throughout the resort, allowing her to gain intimate knowledge of Kiawah Island and its communities. The relationships she built with property owners over the years continue as she assists them now with buying and selling real estate on the island. Though many of Kathleen’s transactions are on Kiawah Island, she loves Charleston and helps clients buy and sell throughout the area, including Seabrook Island, Johns Island, James Island, West Ashley, and Mount Pleasant.
