Halls Chophouse - Downtown Charleston

Halls Chophouse is a Charleston staple and ranked #6 on the list. It is a family-run restaurant where hospitality is just as important as the quailty of food on the menu. One reviewer raved and said “Mr. Hall stopped by our table and personally greeted us and asked about our experience. This was my first visit, but I was told by others with me who've been before that it's the norm. If you're in downtown Charleston and looking for a top shelf dining experience you won't be let down at Hall's! Last but not at all least get the caramel cake desert. You'll be glad you did.”

A College of Charleston student listed Gin Joint as the #1 bar to go for happy hour. She says “Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., this place offers a $5 cocktail (with your choice of light or dark alcohol), a $5 craft beer, and an app menu, with all options running you $6.” They also offer a bartender’s choice where you can choose 2 adjectives and have them concoct your perfect drink.
