Description

Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This first-floor, end unit Kiawah Island vacation rental is completely updated with beautiful furnishings and amenities. This West Beach (previously known as Courtside) villa is about a 4-minute walk to the beach.

Your surroundings, decorated in the colors of grass, sea, sand and sunshine, will help you unwind and relax during your time on Kiawah Island. The living area has beautiful hardwood floors, comfortable furniture, a table and chairs, and flat screen TV. The living room's sleeper sofa offers additional sleeping options. The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped with everything you will need during your stay.

The bedroom has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, and flat screen TV. The bathroom is pristine white with a travertine tile floor and offers private entry from from the bedroom or hall.

The screened porch is perfect for dining outdoors or just relaxing.

The villa is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Dogs under 25 pounds are welcome for an additional fee of $50 per pet per day.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $150. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

This condo was the perfect place for my family to log off and enjoy each other. Less than a two min walk to the beach we could all go to the beach together, and I could quickly walk the dog home when it got too warm out, and be back in less than five minutes. Easy for keeping our one year old contained and we all loved sitting on the screened porch. We will definitely be booking again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo is clean and comfortable. Well starts kitchen. There is a small leak under the sink the first night we were there and a very courteous and professional repair person showed up within 30 minutes of our call. We will definitely be staying in this condo again!

What a great little condo...just a short walk from the beach. Very relaxing location if you're looking for a spot to unwind. Loved seeing all the wildlife and the beach was fabulous. It wasn't crowded and we were able to fully enjoy ourselves. There are lots of things to do and see within a reasonable driving distance. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to get away from it all, relax and reset. We'll definitely be back.

Condo was beautiful. Perfect for just the two of us. The only downside was all of the construction noise. It's 7 at night and you can't sit on the porch because of a very loud pump running at the retaining pond. Also the new huge building is not the best view. I hope they put in some trees and landscaping around the retaining pond so that future renters have a better view. They might want to change the name, no courtside view anymore. Beach was perfect and not a bad walk. Wish a map would have been included in the book to make it easier to find the beach access. Lots of beautiful wildlife.

Great Villa for Two!

We did a one week stay at Kiawah and stayed in this great Villa right next to the Conference Center. Villa was well decorated and had everything we needed for the week. Screened in porch was a plus!
Couple of suggestions would be to replace the shower head with something that adjusts instead of a basic head and to replace some of the pots and pans with higher quality and bigger sized. Not big items but would be nice additions.

Cute With everything you need.

It was quiet, close to the beach, great for biking and walking your dogs. Which is beautiful. The area we love and have stayed here three times before. Played golf at Oak Point, Cougar and Turtle Point. The market area is devine, lots of shops and entertainment. Great places to eat. I would recommend Kiawah for getaway. You’ll love it.

Great place to stay on Kiawah!

We've been coming to Kiawah Island for 30+ years and stayed at many condos. Owners have done a nice job of investing in this unit. First floor, end unit with a view of a pond with a fountain. Furnishings are comfortable. Wood flooring. New appliances. New Trane AC unit. Clean bathroom with tiled shower. Well furnished. 4-5 minute walk to beach. All very easy. Dog friendly and our small Coton enjoyed it as much as we did.
I would stay here again and would recommend it to couples as a nice place.

Terrific, well stocked place

I love using Akers Ellis for finding vacation rentals. They do such a great job of getting my car pass and lockbox information to me before my stay. They also give added touches like free coffee and a hat to enjoy my stay. This particular unit was really nice and was the BEST equipped vacation rental I've ever had. It had cute dishes, knives that actually work, condiments, and plenty of towels. I will definitely stay there again!

Good location

My significant other and I went to stay at 1407 W Beach Villa mid-way through June and were overall pleased. It was a great location about 5 minutes from the beach and all of the amenities were as described. It even had more kitchen stuff than we were expecting. We did wish it had been cleaned better before we arrived: there was still sand on the floor and we could tell easily that there had been a dog in the unit before us. It also depends on who your upstairs neighbors are as it could be loud when they were moving around. Otherwise, we were happy with it!

Lovely time, great location

Stayed for a week. The apartment is very nice, a bit tight but so well located near the beach and the front gate. Cougar Point club house is a 5-minute walk. Only change I’d make is to modernize the tv channels.

Phenomenal little condo

My girlfriend and I found this place very last minute and were pleasantly surprised with how good of a choice it was. The condo was very clean and cute. Kiawah West Beach Courtside Unit

This unit was a nice size for my small family unit of three to enjoy Kiawah. We have stayed in a different unit every time we have visited Kiawah and this was definitely the most reasonably priced rental. The location gives good West Beach (the best beach) access. Tennis courts were not used during our stay so not a problem with noise. New washer/dryer and kitchen appliances-efficient set up.

1407 Courtside Villas September 2017

Great experience. The villa was clean and uncluttered, plenty of space for two to four guests. The villa had all of the essentials and we really could've packed less! My wife and I brought plenty of kitchen items only to find that this kitchen is nearly fully stocked with things you always forget when traveling to the beach (dishwasher detergent, paper towels, trash bags, etc). King sized bed as promised; we thought it was a little uncomfortable but that was truly our only complaint about the whole experience. 5 minutes or less from the beach and right on the tennis courts. Easy access to bike trails and only 10-15 minutes from the park. Very easy to handle arrival and check-in.

Perfect Place

We enjoyed our time at this charmingly decorated Courtside Villa. The villa had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Reservation, payment, arrival, and departure processes were so easy. Rented bikes for the week to explore the beautiful island. Spent our days on the gorgeous, quiet beach and golfing on two of the island's amazing courses. Had dinner several nights at Freshfields Village, at La Tela Pizzeria, King Street Grille, and 48-a Wine Bar (unique experience!), and breakfast one day at The Straw Market, at Southern Kitchen. We've been coming to Kiawah for the last 18 years, and this trip was as relaxing and fun as the rest!

Great Villa Experience

Two of my friends and I traveled to Kiawah for spring break this year and we were very satisfied with this villa. Everything was clean and put together. All the furniture and kitchen amenities were clearly very updated. Bright and fun beachy colors. The walk to the beach and the west beach Straw Market were both less than one minute which was really nice. Plenty of parking and bike rack space. Alll the beds were very comfortable! Would stay here again

Great experience, would recommend for others

-Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would come here again. The property was clean and was as described. There is one key in the outside lockbox with a code which I found on the Akers Ellis iPhone app I downloaded which also contained all kinds of other useful information.
-my wife and I are first timers at Kiawah. There is a Tom of information about the surrounding area they give you in the property. A whole binder of restaurants and attractions, handy phone numbers, and lots of pamphlets and magazines with good information.
-the location was great-a short 3-4 minute walk to the beach area which was absolutely beautiful.
-there were clean sheets towels and some basic bathroom toiletries included such as soap and shampoo.
-laundry room has a beach chair and umbrella...FYI
-while you do have "resort privileges", that doesn't mean stuff is free. Tennis courts which are right outside this property, is $25/hour which isn't bad.
-bike rental from several companies will deliver your bikes right to the property which I highly recommend.
-streets around Kiawah are not lit well so I do not suggest walking or biking at night but we did drive to and from dinner a few times which went fine.
-Staff communicated well given the circumstances after Hurricane Matthew. When we drove 15 hours we found the property to be in good condition without evidence of damage.
-this property is located in the west beach area which has a small breakfast/lunch place and gift shop within 3-4 minutes walking distance. There is also a golf course nearby. If you walk or bike north on the island you can see the Sanctuary hotel and lots of amazing houses.

Well Thought Out Accomodations

As an owner of a rental property it's tricky to know what people will use in the kitchen, etc. This unit has all the needed blankets and kitchen items one would want plus some nice books on the area's ecology with pictures. One comment - the screen porch furniture is very dusty. Perhaps the cleaning staff could vacuum after every stay. We used towels to keep our clothing clean.

Perfect for Our Stay

My wife and I have been traveling to the beach for 35+ years (more so to HHI) and have stayed mostly a timeshare locations with the occasional rental.Overall the unit worked well for out needs, was close enough to the beach and worked well for our needs.

Our Stay on Kiawah

Wonderful stay on Kiawah. Have been here several times before and rented this villa for the first time. It is a nice effecient villa for 2 to 4 people. Comfortable beds (even the sofa bed). Well-appointed with all the basics anyone needs. Really beautiful weather! A great reprieve from Ohio's cold long winter!

Very, very pleased!

From the moment your staff answered the phone and helped me with my initial inquiry I was immediately very pleased. Her tone and kindness won me over as I already had a go with [another rental company's] representative the prior day. There was no question that I was going to go with your firm at that moment. Your customer service is excellent. In addition to your staff helping me with my initial inquiry, she also took the time to provide me with some quick personal insight into Kiawah and Charleston over the phone which was very helpful in making my decisions regarding my vacation. She was kind, helpful and not pushy. The email chain with .pdfs, contracts, etc was excellent and very organized and all completed with speed. I would highly recommend Akers Ellis to anyone that I know travelling to Kiawah. Also, the accommodation was excellent. It was clean, it was well decorated, it was new, well priced and it was close to the beach.

I can't say enough great things about your organization. Thank you for being such a positive and integral part of our vacation to Kiawah Island being such a wonderful experience.

A Quick Vacation

Great time at Kiawah

Great place to relax and rest!

We had a fabulous time on Kiawah Island. The villa was clean with everything we needed. We truly enjoyed having a restaurant, icecream shop, and small mart for conveniences. The beach was quiet and secluded. We never had to drive far for anything. The price was reasonable. We did drive into Charleston for a day which was only a 25 minute drive downtown. We will definitley be back. Thank you!

March Vacation

The villa was perfect for two people. The furnishings are attractive and comfortable. We appreciated the starter supplies of soaps, paper goods etc. that actually lasted all week. We were disappointed that we did not have access to a swimming pool, but fortunately we had great beach weather. Nothing beats a morning bike ride on the wide beach!

Honeymooning

Loved the stay at this wonderful villa! Beautiful and homey, as well as close to the beach. The mattress was a little firmer than we are used to and we had a slight problem with bugs. However, we were extremely happy with our stay and we hope to revisit in the future!

Apartment is very cozy - we liked the interior design a lot. The location is great as well - just steps from the beach.

Kiawah rental

Bliss!!

What a wonderful time we had on our honeymoon! The weather was perfect and the condo was a gem. We were right next to the tennis courts and enjoyed playing twice a day. We also enjoyed riding bikes, going for walks on the beach, and seeing wildlife including bald eagles! Kiawah is an amazing mix of nature and luxury. We can't wait to return!
