In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 4, the maximum allowed occupancy is 9, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 4. RBL23-000012This Kiawah Island vacation rental features 4 bedrooms, a pool, and a spacious back deck. Conveniently located on Governors Drive, the main thoroughfare in Vanderhorst Plantation, the home is a 7-minute bike ride to the beach. Upon entering the property, you’ll find exquisite finishes, accentuated hardwood flooring, high ceilings, and an abundance of natural light. In the main living area, you will find upscale and comfortable seating, a large flat-screen TV, and French door access to the pool and back deck. The doors leading out to the pool deck also have an optional alarm system. The fully equipped kitchen offers white cabinetry, ample counter space, and a center island with barstool seating. The dining area serves as the perfect entertainment space as it offers pool and deck views, seating for your whole party, and close proximity to the kitchen. You will also find a first-floor, half-bathroom that is accessible down the hall. The first-floor primary bedroom features French door access to the deck, and a king-sized bed with notable bedding. It also features a private bathroom with a double sink vanity and a glass walk-in shower. The second bedroom is found on the second floor. It features a king-sized bed, scenic views, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom. The second bathroom also offers a walk-in, glass shower.The third bedroom is found on the second floor and offers a queen-sized bed and scenic views.The fourth bedroom is perfect for kids as it features 3 twin-sized beds and a third bathroom equipped with a walk-in glass shower and bathtub combination. This bathroom is also accessible from the hall. The beautiful back deck invites you to sit back and unwind. Go for a swim, lounge poolside, or dine al fresco- the possibilities are endless! The home is equipped with a washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. The dimensions of the pool are 10' W x 18' L. The pool cannot be heated.Please note that this property has exterior security cameras that view the home's driveway, front entrance, garage, and back deck. These cameras serve to protect both the property owner and rental guests.Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park. Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

I usually loved riding my bike to the beach through those lovely shady trails, but this week, I was eaten alive - they loved me unfortunately. No mosquito problems by the pool/deck - only on the ride to the beach. I highly recommend this lovely home and hope to return!

This property did not disappoint! It is rare that the property is better in person than the pictures.  Absolutely stunning and gorgeous! It is also so well-stocked and the cleanliness upon arrival was a step above any other property we have ever stayed at.  The only issue we had was the wifi was spotty throughout the house and very tough in the master bedroom. It would not have been an issue at all except we did had sons working remotely & who needed reliable internet.  (My husband suggests investigating MoCA ethernet w/ the eero...)  Thank you again for a wonderful stay!  It was the PERFECT home to return to Kiawah and celebrate my 60th birthday with my whole family!!  We came almost every summer with the boys when they were growing up and it was so much fun to return and show their wives/fiancé the island where we created so many family memories.  We loved creating new ones at this beautiful home. We hope to return someday!! Thank you!!

The bike ride from the house to the section of the beach we were permitted to use, took about 15/20 minutes to get there; definitely plan to rent one or two bikes with a hitch to tow chairs and umbrellas to the beach.

### Wonderful experience! (5/5 stars)
We had such a wonderful experience with this rental. My mom, two young boys (4 and 1.5), sister, and myself stayed here for four nights as a little spring break trip. The house was in tip-top shape and very clean! The weather was chilly during our stay, but we enjoyed sitting on the back deck around the pool and afternoon swings on the front porch. The kitchen was well stocked and had luxury cooking items. There is also a fabulous laundry room. The neighborhood is very nice, quiet, and an easy drive to both ends of the island. My one concern in booking this rental was the pool. Perfect for adults, but requires constant supervision with children. I was SO RELIEVED when we arrived and saw there are ALARMS on the back doors that lead to the back deck/pool area. I will note, you CAN take the batteries out if you do have an all adult group. Since we were traveling with little ones, this was a great, unexpected find for us :) We loved this rental and are currently looking at dates to return. THANK YOU for allowing us to stay at your rental! We created some fun, sweet memories :)
