Charleston Symphony Orchestra

Charleston Symphony Orchestra Chamber Music features two octets by Stravinsky and Schubert, offering an evening of chamber music performed by the ensemble’s core members and artist-in-residence, Grammy Award-winning cellist Zuill Bailey.

Stravinsky’s Woodwind Octet, inspired by a dream, is known for its rhythmic energy and distinctive use of winds and brass. Schubert’s String Octet is a six-movement work that highlights the richness and lyricism of the string ensemble.
