Description

Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This Kiawah Island vacation rental features 6 bedrooms, a private pool and spa, and spacious living areas. This gorgeous home is on Kiawah’s most iconic street and is just a short 2-minute walk from the beach.

The main living area is located on the first floor and features a coffered ceiling, 2 sofas and 2 chairs around the large flat screen TV, 3 chairs and table perfect for playing cards, a wet bar with wine cooler, and easy access to the back deck. The back deck features gorgeous views of Osprey Point Golf Course, a pool, spa, table for dining, and several lounge chairs. Back inside, guests will enjoy the bright sunroom featuring a sofa and 2 chairs. The dining space offers comfortable seating for 10 and is close to the large kitchen island with 7 barstool seats. The upgraded, fully-equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, and plenty of cabinet and counter space.

The first floor features the master bedroom with a king bed, access to the back deck, large walk-in closet and luxurious bathroom with double vanities, walk-in shower, and soaking tub. On the split level, guests will enjoy a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a pool table, and private bathroom. This level also offers easy bathroom access from the pool deck. The second floor features a second living area with comfortable seating, large flat screen TV, access to another deck, and a wet bar. The third and fourth bedrooms both feature king beds, TVs, and private bathrooms. The fifth bedroom features 2 twin beds, TV, and a private bathroom. The sixth and final bedroom features 2 built-in bunks and a private bathroom.

This home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

The spa can be heated for an additional $75/per day. This pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $75/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.

Please note that this property has exterior security cameras that view the home's front entrance and rear deck. These cameras serve to protect both the property owner and rental guests.

This home does not have cable but instead offers SmartTVs.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $400. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golf on one of five world class golf courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, boating, kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

As always, the Akers Ellis team was great to work with and paid attention to the minor details to make our stay an enjoyable one. The booking process was easy and the house was exactly what we had expected. Check in was easy and the emailed communications leading up to the stay were very informative and self explanatory.

Our rental was very spacious and clean upon arrival and was equipped with everything we needed for the long weekend. The walk to the beach was manageable, even with young children. The weather was great which allowed us to enjoy the beach and the pool during our stay. It was a perfect place to watch the Georgia Bulldogs dominate the Florida Gators in a 43 to 20 victory. GO DAWGS!!!

We were extremely pleased with the experience and are looking forward to our next rental with Akers Ellis. Thanks again for all of the efforts and the wonderful experience.

This is a home created to both relax and entertain in. Interior spaces, common and private, are large, uncluttered with very luxurious, comfortable furnishings. Kudos to the designer! The entire back of the house opens out to a wonderful deck for dining, lounging, swimming, with treed privacy (including a live oak) and serene golf course views.
Location is superb. The house is so close to the beach access, one can pop back for lunch, or stroll the gorgeous Kiawah shore to The Sanctuary in one direction or the Ocean Course Club in the other. We were a large group of adults and children but could congregate all together or privately with ease. Will return!

Magnificent home on flyway drive - the most perfect location, in Kiawah. This home is in an Estate area, away from the hustle and bustle of resorts, but still just a 5 minute walk down the beach. The beach is literally across the street with easy access, but if your lazy, you will enjoy the pristine pool and jacuzzi right on the back deck! The home has everything you need and would dream of! Super luxurious large kitchen so all your friend can help cook and clean, large open living room with giant flat screen TV. Luxurious Master Suite on Main with an additional 4 (or maybe 5) bedrooms upstairs all well appointed with en-suite bathrooms. Oversized garage, plenty of parking. Super close to Osprey Point golf course and maybe another mile or two to both Turtle point to the West and the famed Ocean Course on the East. The hosts bend over backward to make sure you are comfortable. We are definitely hoping to come back again!

Dream getaway

What an amazing place for a vacation. We met up with extended family for a week and there was room plus extra for everyone. The house is beautiful, the kitchen well equipped for cooking in, the pool and back patio are perfect for relaxing. The walk to the beach was fairly easy. This rental made for one of our best Kiawah trips yet.

Awesome property

We have been coming to Kiawah for 30+ years. This year we needed a larger house because we had 10 adult kids and teen age grandkids.
They all loved the pool and used it every day after the beach and in the evening. We used the pool table every night.
The house had two dishwashers and ovens and two washers/dryers. Plenty of seating and enough dishes, pots. pans, etc. Plan on returning next year. Property management was VERY responsive to any need/question we had. Only disappointment is no one turned in a pair of golf shorts and Boston Marathon shirt I left behind. But that does not take away from the great time the property provided.

Location, Location, Location

We had an absolutely wonderful month vacationing at 136 Flyway Drive. The house is new, with all the latest conveniences. It's a great house for larger groups with a number of different rooms to congregate. The outside patio is very large and so peaceful out there. My husband and I have have missed that patio since we've returned. But the very best feature of this home is the location to the beach. You are a hop, skip and jump away from Beach access rd 38a. The property managers were extremely attentive to our needs. There was a time or two that we asked for something above and beyond what was expected and it was taken care of within a few hours of asking each time.
