Description

This Kiawah Island vacation rental features a private pool, relaxing views of the 9th hole on the Turtle Point Golf Course, and a spacious backyard. Located just past the second gate in the Vanderhorst section of Kiawah, the home is only a short 5-minute bike ride or a 15-minute walk to the beach. The Turtle Point Club House which features the Turtle Point Bar and Grille and Tomasso (fine Italian food) is a 5-minute walk from the home.

The spacious and open gourmet kitchen with large center island features a prep sink, breakfast area with seating for four, and a kitchen bar area with seating for four. There is also a large separate dining room with seating for eight so family meals can be enjoyed together.

The kitchen opens to the main living area with a large wall mounted flat screen TV, plenty of seating, and access to the back deck and pool. The enclosed sunroom off of the kitchen and breakfast area also opens to the deck and has floor to ceiling windows to let in the natural light and beautiful views.

The master suite is located downstairs and offers access to the back deck, fairway views, a king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, and spacious private bathroom with custom cabinets, double sink and vanity areas, jetted tub, and separate walk-in shower. The three remaining bedrooms are located upstairs. A second master bedroom offers a king-sized bed and private bathroom. Two additional bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed and the other with a double and twin bed, share a bathroom. These three bedrooms open to a sitting area that serves as an additional gathering space for family.

The home backs up to the Turtle Point Golf Course and offers pristine views of the 9th fairway from the living areas, master suite, the pool deck, and the backyard. The pool is approximately 18ft x 10ft. Guests may also use the corn hole set in the large backyard or play a game of Ping Pong or foosball in the garage.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

This pool has an electric heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $100/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.

The dimensions of the pool are 10' W x 18' L.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

We had a great weekend at 14 Angler Hall, despite the not so great weather. The house was great, with everything we needed and the location was perfect - not a big hike to the beach, FreshFields or to the Ocean Club. The ping pong table was a nice addition and we used it a lot, thanks to the rainy conditions. The bedrooms were nicely appointed and comfortable and the sunroom was another nice bonus space, with great views of the golf course. We will definitely stay in this home again. Great Golf Trip Home For Couples

Perfect house for reunion!

With three separate suites, plus a few rooms we did not use, this house was perfect for the 3 couples as we gathered for a reunion. We had plans to go into Charleston but everything was so perfect in kiawah we never left. Kitchen was perfect for cooking a big meal and the couch held all of us to watch the Ryder cup. The pool was refreshing, the ride to beach easy, and we walked to The sanctuary for dinner. Watching the stream of golfers was relaxing. Everything was perfect! Thank you.

Perfect Vacation home!

Perfect place on Kiawah. Great location on the island. Short walk to Tomasso and Turtle Point Clubhouse. Easy bike ride to Sanctuary. Easy ride to beach (5min). Pool and deck were great. Ping pong table and cornhole were awesome. Even had two fishing poles and some lures we fished with. Overall, the best place we have ever stayed on Kiawah! Easy to check in. Clean. Loved having a washer and dryer.

We had a great 1st experience with a vacation rental. There were a few exterior items such as a lot of debris in and around the pool but this was also only a week post Dorian so we took that into consideration. We also could not figure out the speaker system throughout the house and on the outdoor areas. Overall, a beautiful home and would definitely consider a property there in the future.

Rental Company Review

I had no problems contacting the rental company or during the booking process. I had downloaded the app for ease of check in for arrival day. About 3 hours before arrival, the app still was not showing the lock box code. I called the office and was graciously given the code over the phone since the app was supposed to give me the code at midnight.
I asked about early check-in numerous times and was told to wait until the normal time. Upon pulling up to the driveway, I was impressed by beauty of the property. I was unaware the lock box was located on the railing and it took me about 5 minutes to figure out where it was located and another 5 minutes to get it open. Upon entering the home, I was very excited and impressed with how beautiful everything was. I did however notice the kitchen table was not dusted and I immediately had to kill a rather large cockroach on the wall (A fly swatter would be a nice addition to the home). Everything else was great. During the week, the rental company contacted me via email about possibly letting them show the house to a prospective buyer. In turn, they would compensate me for the inconvenience. I complied and they did refund the money. I had planned a "yoga on the beach" session for a Friday morning of our trip. The instructor was not able to get through the gates (as I was informed prior to this day she has had no problem doing so previously), so I contacted the rental company expecting them to help problem solve. They were not able to help me in any way, which I was pretty disappointed in. I had to problem solve myself. Upon leaving, it was extremely difficult to put the lock box key back and I ended up having to call and inform the company of how I left the home. Overall, this home was a great place to stay! I would recommend that the rental company provide new lock boxes and provide a smoother arrival procedure with more informative instructions. Also, more details about the home. Would definitely come back!

Outstanding!

Four guys rented the house for a golf vacation. It was an outstanding experience. We had a beautiful home instead of a hotel room. We each had our own bedroom and bath. It gave us plenty of room to relax and not be on top of one another as we would have had we stayed in a hotel. We were able to cook breakfast, grill steaks and burgers on the grill and we were only minutes from golf. The home was beautiful and clean. Check in and check out were very easy. We are looking forward to doing it again next year.

Fantastic Vacation

Kiawah Marathon Weekend

Had a great experience renting through Akers Ellis. Originally I booked a two bedroom villa in Parkside, close to the Marathon start/finish; however, that rental had issues with the hot water. A representative contacted me and moved me to a beautiful 4 bedroom home, a little over a mile from the start/finish, but they still gave me the option to park in the villa's parking spots for the marathon - great consideration on their part. No major issues at the house. The remote in the living room didn't work, and without it you couldn't operate the TV - but definitely didn't ruin our stay at all. There were a few stains on some furniture throughout the house- but it was more of a family home which is expected with young kids. Because the move was last minute, I'm not sure it was cleaned too recent - it wasn't dirty, but there were a few spots that needed a quick dust/sweep. All in all I was VERY satisfied with my stay and experience with Akers Ellis. Will be using again for next year's marathon and already booked my place for this Easter!

Wonderful house for entertaining

We are return renters of this house. It fits our family of six adults and five children well. The house is very well outfitted with appliances and kitchen utinsils to support a big Thanksgiving meal. We had an incoming water leak in the basement but it was repaired within hours of notifying Akers Ellis. Their support and staff is excellent! We have opted to rent this house again.

Lots of space

The house itself is great, lots of room, great layout and kitchen. Plenty of space for two families with 4 young children. Unfortunately, the pool and pool deck are a lot smaller than they appear in the pictures, and that was disappointing. The distance from the beach was too far for our little ones to walk or bike, so we had to shuttle everyone and our stuff using cars, but the beach is worth the trouble. The house is in a quiet and wooded part of Kiawah, which was very nice.

Relaxing Reconnect at the Ocean

As always we were delighted with our stay on Kiawah Island. The home was comfortable, spacious, and welcoming. The weather was a perfect mix of sun, breeze, and a rare yet refreshing rain shower. Management was extremely prompt and efficient when contacted about a dishwasher problem. Akers Ellis has a great website, a convenient and helpful app with all the necessary info for our stay, and was available and professional in assisting us. Kiawah Island is an inviting vacation destination because of its convenient and scenic access to the ocean as well as its safety and the availability of shopping and dining necessities and desires.

Two families for Spring Break...first trip to Kiawah

Two families spring break together every year in a different location. We have 6 girls between us two couples ages 11-21. This house was perfect for us! We could all fit around the dining room table for meals and games. The beds were all very comfortable. The room arrangements were perfect. The kitchen was ample and very user-friendly. We made meals here at least twice a day. We loved the vibe and decor and cleanliness of the house! We didn't find the "hidden" half bath until halfway through our week LOL but it sure came in handy after that! Kitchen was well stocked, the deck was very nice but I have no idea how the pool would ever be useable due to all of the constant leaves falling into the pool. It stayed very dirty even though we cleaned it daily in case someone wanted to take a dip but no one braved the buggy pool! :( The only other CON besides that was the fact that with all this square footage and all the bedrooms and baths, there was not a single solitary full length mirror in the house! With 8 young ladies in the house this was a bummer! but obviously a VERY insignificant one :)
Location was perfect, quiet everywhere, gorgeous golf course. We all loved it very much!!

KEEP CALM and rent this house!

Our multi-generational family had a heavenly stay at 14 Angler Hall! WE Love Love Love Kiawah and this very spacious and very comfortable house fit our gang of 7 adults and 3 children. Akers Ellis was super to rent from--their mobile app, their quick response to questions, their friendly employees--they truly added to our relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
The house is about a 10 minute or so ride to the beach--but using the Alley of Oaks it was very pleasant! The pool was for us an extra plus! (partly shaded, partly sunny) and it proved to be a great place to gather before or after beach! The kitchen was well stocked and so roomy--we never seemed to get in each other's way! The beds were comfortable as was the seating throughout. We highly recommend this house.

Well Oiled Machine

"Definitely a 5 ! Everything was just perfect. My wife Diana and I stopped into your office on the way home yesterday and spoke to Devin. We told her that everything was terrific. We were hoping to meet Nancy Bryant who handled our rental. She was always right ""On Top of Everything"" , extremely well organized and promptly responsive to our needs. We were also very pleased with Dalton (the maintenance guy) who responded quickly and fixed our minor problems with a smile & a great attitude.

wonderful Easter visit

Our visit was a 5 as far as the property was concerned. The weather for our wives and daughters was less than 5 for sunning - but a very enjoyable time none the less.

Great with Kids

House was better than the pictures show, specially the front entrance. House was in a good location, we could easily ride bikes to the beach and also to Night Heron park. Bike ride to the beach was on the road but not busy. With two kids riding bikes, it took us about 10 min to the beach access. Otherwise, you can take the many bike paths to the other main locations. House had plenty of room and big kitchen.

14 Angler Hall

Overall the house was very nice; everyone had comfortable bedding and were pleased with the location in relation to the beach. We rented bikes along with a small trailer to haul our cooler, beach bags and chairs to the beach. If anything the kitchen was a little lacking if someone wanted to bake something. We could not get the oven below the range top to unlock; thankfully there was another wall oven. The small pool was perfect along with the Weber grill on the deck overlooking the golf course. The bath towels were a little thin and worn with many having threads hanging off them. Despite the few items listed I would most certainly stay there again. It's a great place for 2 families to spend a week.
