Description

Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This Kiawah Island vacation rental offers 6 bedrooms, golf and lagoon views, and a private pool. The home is just across the street from the beach access path and is about a 3-minute walk from the beach.

This beautiful residence greets you with a new front entry staircase and front door. The lovely dining room offers a large table with seating for 8 and 3 stools at the kitchen bar. The fully equipped, gourmet kitchen showcases custom cabinetry, granite countertops, rustic center island, and breakfast area with a table and seating for 4. The light-filled living room features a sofa and cozy chairs, relaxing window seat overlooking the deck and pool, and a large wall-mounted TV.

The spacious first-floor master suite boasts a king bed, sitting area, TV, and a large bathroom with double sinks, shower, and soaking tub. Upstairs, you will find 5 additional bedrooms. To the right is the first parent-child suite: the first room features a queen bed and a TV; the second room has two twin beds; the bedrooms share a bathroom with shower. Towards the back of the home is a queen bedroom with a TV, a balcony overlooking the deck and pool, and a private sink vanity for the shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom with tub/shower combo. To the left is the second parent-child suite: the first room features a queen bed, a TV, and a private sink vanity for the shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom with tub/shower combo; the second room has 2 twin beds and its own bathroom with shower.

The screened porch offers a dining table and 6 chairs as well as access to the back deck. The home’s large yet private deck and swimming pool are surrounded by trees and sunshine. The pool is approximately 24ft x 13ft. The deck features a gas grill as well as multiple lounge and Adirondack chairs. Both the screened porch and deck offer golf course and lagoon views.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Please note that this home offers online streaming services and does not have cable TV.

This pool cannot be heated and is covered from Fall until Spring.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $400. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

Though not a brand new property, this home was great: nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. There was lots of room for everyone ( our group was all adults) to have their own space, or to hang out as a group. Pool was clean, and well maintained. Very convenient to beach and golf course. We enjoyed lounging by the pool, enjoyed meals on the screened porch, and dining room. Enough seating and room in the family room for movie night! Plenty of room for 4 vehicles. We would rent this property again.

Great location - beautiful house!

Fabulous location - easy walk to a quiet stretch of beach and close to the Sanctuary for coffee. Bike riding inside the neighbor was a joy - the streets were wide and not too busy with traffic.

Great house for a great summer vacation

Excellent property

Beautiful home, close to the ocean. Great pool. Many great amenities and excellent appliances. We were disappointed the first day when there was a sign on the stove that we couldn’t use the cook top. Our property manager came the next day with an electrician who got the stove working. He was exceptionally helpful. Overall a perfect spot for a family vacation.

Mini family reunion

Great house, very roomy for 12 adults. Close to the beach, the pool is very nice, but bring your own hangers, as apparently guests tend to take them with. We will definitely return.

Kiawah Island House Rental

Our family had a great time. The house was very well appointed, slept many, and was beautifully decorated. The pool came in extra handy as there was record breaking heat the week we were there (100 degrees on Memorial Day!). The beach was a quick walk, and the biking trails were beautiful. We would totally stay here again. The only change I would make at all would be to add another couch or to replace existing couch with a large sectional, but we pulled in chairs from the dining room and were totally fine.

Multiple Family vacation!

Everything was great! The app you provided was very comprehensive. The house was a perfect fit for our grown children and grandchildren. THE location to the beach was great. The house was stocked with the basic essentials We cooked a lot and also enjoyed some of the local restaurants on the island. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week. Perfect House

I have have rented this house three years in a row with tennis friends. It has a lot of beds, a terrific kitchen, a great porch for dining, and a glorious pool. Plus, it's a five minute walk to the beach. Fabulous house, and Akers is always provides excellent service.

Spring Break 2018

This was a great place for our family to spend Spring Break. Close to the beach and plenty of room for 3 generations to spread out. Too cool for the unheated pool.
Only improvement would be in the kitchen. We are pretty serious cooks, knives were dull and pots and pans could be updated.

Great Home

Our stay at 2 Nicklaus Lane was absolutely perfect. Everything was exactly as I had hoped, including the weather. The House worked out great with plenty of room for all of us. We all enjoyed the Pool, especially my Grandchildren. I couldn't have asked for a nicer location. We spent a lot of time at the Beach or riding Bikes on all the Bike Trails. Family friendly house. Great location! The only problem is you do not have access to Heron Park Pool, which kids love because of the new water slide. It would be nice if property management would get access to this.

This house was zamazing. My husband and I have four children. Three girls and one son. Melissa decided on getting married on Kiawah since her husband works for the conservancy. After looking at many homes we decided upon this one. The layout of the house was perfect for two of my daughters their husbands and children. Four grandchildren all together. The upstairs was so perfect the way it was set up. They had their own suites and there was still room for my 88 year old mother. The pool was a saving grace and the proximity to the beach and everything else was tremendous. The only thing I could suggest is having a third pillow on the king size bed or at least extra pililow cases for the extra ones in the closet. I would definitely recommend your company to anyone interested in renting. My family may be interested in coming again ths summer and will definitely contact you for another rental. Thanksgiving Family Gathering 2011

Words will not be able to express the memories that my family and I were able to create during our holiday (Thanksgiving) stay. The home was beautiful and within a short walking distance to the beach. The accommodations were perfect for families with small children also. We are considering a summer retreat in the near future so, that we can truly enjoy all of the amenities this home has to offer (pool). Excellent Choice!!

Vacation Success Story

My husband is retiring this year. We wanted to do something for our three children and their families to remember. We have two small grandchildren, ages 2 and 16 months. Since part of the family lives in another state, the grandchildren have not had a lot of time to bond. This vacation was a bonding experience for all and was a great success. Having our own pool and the quietness of mid September along with having a short walk to the beach, the golf courses, and chartered fishing made for a wonderful retreat and lasting memories for all. There's a rumor we might just do this again!

Great rental house, location was awesome, pool perfect

The house had a great location, and the pool was a really nice addition. The house had alot of bedrooms and could have accomodated more than our group of 6. The only thing the house was missing were hair dryers!

Felt at Home on Nicklaus!!

Lovely home!! Need to service the burners as they are hard to operate and one you have to do by hand because the knob does not work!! Our family loved it so much we will probably be back next year!!!

The wireless network associated with that location is not secure and my email was hacked into and passwords changed... etc. It was a nightmare and $300 consulting fee to get my stuff back. Please have owners secure a network with a password. This was a complete disaster!!

Great Beach Trip!

Great location and great main floor flow. Only negative is connecting bedrooms can be a little awkward for bathroom sharing.
