Description

Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This Kiawah Island vacation rental is a sunny, updated home that offers 5 bedrooms and incredible lagoon views. The home’s fabulous location along the beach path allows for quick access to the beach (about a 3-minute walk).

The bright first floor offers a spacious living area with plenty of seating for all guests and skylights throughout all of the living spaces. The updated kitchen is beautiful and offers stainless steel appliances, white cabinets, granite countertops, a large center island with two barstools, and a dining area that seats six. There is also a formal dining room that seats eight. Guests will enjoy the bright sunroom right off the living space with a door allowing for privacy.

The master suite is located on the first floor and offers a king bed with a large, private bathroom. Also on the first floor is a king bedroom and a bedroom with two queens. These bedrooms share a hallway bathroom. On the second floor, you will find a king bedroom with a single sleeper sofa and a private bathroom. The fifth bedroom is located at the private far end of the house, on a half level above the garage, making it a great sleeping and hangout area for children or family groups. It offers two full beds, a full-sized sleeper sofa, sitting area, and easy access to a newly added full bathroom with a large shower. The fifth bedroom could also be used as an office or second living room.

Guests will enjoy lounging or dining on the back deck while soaking in the serene environment and views of the lagoon. The mudroom, located off the garage, offers a large second refrigerator with an icemaker as well as storage space for bikes and beach gear. Guests do not have access to the garage area.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $400. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

We loved our stay at this house so much! The layout is absolute perfection, with 3 distinct bedroom “wings”, which worked amazingly for our multigenerational guests. The proximity to the beach and the resident alligator in the backyard were some additional highlights. Highly recommend this house to others - many gathering rooms to spread out in and the mattresses were so incredibly comfortable!

Stayed here with a group of friends for a college reunion. Home was beautiful and well outfitted. Master bedroom shower was dreamy. Convenient to bike paths and beach. We liked that it had two bedrooms with two beds in them which enabled more people to stay. Driveway is a bit narrow and hard to turnaround if you have 3 cars.

a wonderful time

the house was perfect plenty of space to set up a puzzle table, quiet space for reading and common space to watch TV. It was exactly as described a wonderful locate with a short walk to the beach. The lagoon provided us with a delightful mixture of birds, alligators and jumping fish. Every one at Akers Ellis were helpful and professional. I would highly recommend this property and working with Akers Ellis to anyone.

Location, location, location

We had a great experience. The home was clean, nice, comfortable, and large. It was also well equipped. But the best thing was its location. There is a long lagoon between the row of homes and the ocean. There are also public access points to the beach. This home sits right on a bridge and access point so that the ocean is just over a block away. We had several people in their 60s and nobody had a problem with walking. There are also alligators and very exotic birds in the backyard every day. I try to do my reviews honestly and aside from being more removed from the stores on the west side, if that is your jam, I have nothing but positive comments about this property.

Nice spacious house

Kitchen is great - the rooms are good. Sunroom is awesome! Master is huge. We received quicke responses re: the AC. Some rooms had to be colder in order for the smaller bedrooms to get cool.
Separation of space in the hosue was good for multiple families. The only downside is the halfbath in FROG - which is otherwise a terrific room.
Family loved the house and the short access to the beach! And the resident alligator and her baby. And.. the deer, doe and babies in the yard.
For a large house as this - a few more additions to the kitchen would have been nice (we ate inside most of the time), additional silverware and a casserole dish would have kept us from using the dishwasher os frequently. Otherwise, coffee maker was nice a clean, other kitchen supplies were most appreciated.

PGA Family Vacation HQ ; Well maintained and clean home

Great home for a large group. Downside - only 3 full bathrooms with showers.
We were able to easily access the bike path and get to the beach and hop on the PGA shuttles easily from the home

Family Vacation

Love everything Akers Ellis offers. The house was perfect for a family with college students, middle schoolers and a toddler. It allowed everyone to have their own space. Super easy walk to the beach.
