Description

Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! Built in 2018, this Kiawah Island vacation rental home offers 4 bedrooms, a private pool, views through the cedars to Cinder Creek, and is about a 10-minute bike ride to the beach. The home is situated in a private marsh setting and near the neighborhood crabbing dock and Marsh Tower.

Inside the cedar-shingled home, you will find hardwood floors throughout, shiplap, elegant finishes and large windows that provide plenty of natural light. An open floor plan connects the kitchen, dining area and family room that has access to the screened porch, expansive outdoor deck, and pool. The gourmet kitchen showcases granite counters, a large island and high-end appliances. The first floor living area offers tall ceilings, built in shelving and a TV. Upstairs, you will find a second sitting area with a mounted TV, perfect for kids or teenagers.

The first-floor master suite, with a California king bed, flows off the family room and occupies one side of the first floor. A private bathroom with sliding barn door features a walk-in shower and double sinks. This master bedroom also opens onto the deck and pool area. There are three additional bedrooms on the second floor, all with private bathrooms. The first bedroom features a queen bed and bathroom with sliding barn door and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom features shiplap walls, two built-in XL twin over queen bunk beds and private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The third bedroom features a queen bed and has a bathroom with a shower/tub combo. In the hallway, there is a laundry shoot leading directly to the downstairs laundry room.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

This pool has an electric heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $75/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

Stayed here with 3 other couples and loved the house. Big open spaces, kitchen and butlers pantry was great. Very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the location in the marshes of the preserve. Perfect for our Kiawah marathon run.

This is a great house on a great lot overlooking a beautiful marsh. The house was spotless when we arrived and we found the kitchen to be well equipped. The house is very new and spacious and the pictures don't do it justice. The pool and bunkroom were big hits with the kids and the parents enjoyed the screened-in porch. The closest beach access point (#40) is approximately 1.7 miles from the house. We rode bikes to the beach and back every day (and sometimes several times a day) and had no concerns about the distance - we actually enjoyed the time on the bikes. I can't recommend this house enough. It's really a great place.

The home was beautiful. Plenty of kitchen utensil and plates to accommodate by family. Large living room area with plenty of furniture for everyone to sit. Property managers responded to any questions within 15 minutes. Highly recommend this house.

Outstanding property. Very clean and modern. Great pool with a relaxing nature view. Beach access 40 a bit over a mile away. The beach area is first rate. Not crowded at all in June. Ocean water over 80 degrees. Golf courses are first rate on the island. Excellent vacation!

Fabulous Friends and Family Fall Vacay!!!

This home was, by far, our FAVORITE rental on Kiawah Island. We have been renting on Kiawah for 8 years. It was the first time to rent through VRBO and not Kiawah Island Resort. I was concerned we were too far on East Beach/Vanderhorst when we chose this home, but it was the perfect location!!! It was an easy bike ride to the beach. LOVED the pool here. This home was beautiful and provided wonderful memories for us!

30 Blue Heron Pond Road Review - Zusel

Overall, the house and the location were fantastic! The property mgmt company was amazing and very responsive. We had an issue with a stove propane leak and Akers Ellis could not have responded more quickly. The layout of the house was great and the kids has tons of room. The only issue we had was that the house was not very clean when we arrived. Dusty and the floors were dirty. Also, the showers had mold in them and the sinks in the bathrooms had mold in the drains and were clogged. I had to do a deep clean of my own. The house needs a profession third party to do big deep clean. Also, the bed in the master bedroom was a bit caved in from use. I would consider replacing the bed in the master bedroom. But, we did love the house overall and would rent it again. Plus Akers Ellis was great to work with.

Great family trip

Serene Oasis and luxurious accommodations in Kiawah’s preserve

Loved the beautifully appointed home that we stayed at in Kiawah’s tranquil Preserve area. Bedrooms and bathrooms were luxurious. Kitchen had all areas covered and we ate in for several meals. Pool and outdoor area were great and enjoyed by the whole family. Rental process was very convenient and all critical communication was covered. Highly recommend. Just remember to bring beach towels!

Another great stay in Kiawah!

This house was perfect! Very new, very clean! Kitchen had everything we needed and then some! House was beautifully decorated and beds were comfortable. Pool was great for cooling off. Bike ride to the beach was beautiful and quick. Would certainly stay here again!

Lovely relaxing home

This home was bright, open, and airy with a beautiful relaxing marsh view.. It was even better than the pictures. Our one disappointment was being unable to truly use the pool which was not heating until the day we departed.

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay in this lovely home! This pool is pretty unique in that it has a electric heater as opposed to a propane heater. That is why we state in the property description and the rental agreement that during the winter, heating is only available given appropriate temperatures. With last weeks cold temperatures, the heater simply couldn't keep up. We do want to point out that we would never charge a guest for pool heat when it could not be utilized due to the weather. We are glad that it warmed up on that last day and that you and your group were able to enjoy it! Please let us know when you would like to return to Kiawah. We would love to host your stay again!

Beautiful home!

This home is everything in the pictures and more. We loved our stay and are already considering booking the home for next summer. We loved the pool, screened in porch and beautiful kitchen. The bike ride to the beach takes about 10-15 minutes on a bike, we rented a small bike trailer to carry towels, cooler and boogie boards- worked out great! We hop to stay here again in a year!

spectacular on all fronts! Akers Ellis is top notch!!!!

We will only be using Akers Ellis in the future for rental property, wherever they service. This home was immaculate in not only its function but in presentation, as well. AE was immediately responsive to non-emergency questions and thorough in availability of information to enhance our stay. Attention was given to every detail, making our 2018 Kiawah Vacation extra special! I wish i had more room to expound. Every detail was accurate with description of location and home. Clean, clean, clean. Housekeeping was at the door to prepare for the guests to follow us before we even closed the door behind us. We appreciate that integrity of service. We stayed an addl week on the island through another company (S****grass); that experience was polar opposite from this one. THankful for the professionalism and integrity of Akers Ellis!!!
