Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This beautifully decorated Kiawah Island vacation rental boasts 4 bedrooms, a back deck, and great golf views. The home is located behind the second gate of Kiawah and is a 10-minute bike ride to the beach.

Walk in through the welcoming front door and immediately notice the updated finishes and hardwood floors throughout the first floor of the luxury home. Directly in front of you, you will find the living area that boasts plenty of space for the whole family. Watch a movie on the mounted flat screen TV while relaxing on the sofa or 2 chairs. The living area also has access to the back deck. Inside, the dining table provides seating for 8 plus 4 additional seats at the kitchen counter. The fully equipped kitchen features white cabinets, ample counter space, stainless steel appliances, double oven, and separate bar area.

The first-floor master bedroom features a king-sized bed, TV and 2 reading chairs. The large, private master bathroom has a gorgeous tile walk-in shower, standalone soaking tub, and large vanity. The second first-floor bedroom features a king-sized bed, TV, and private access to a hall bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs, you will find the remaining 2 bedrooms. Both feature queen sized beds and TVs. They share a hallway bathroom that has a shower/tub combo.

Enjoy the back deck - where guests can use the gas grill, enjoy meals at the table or simply watch the golfers play on the 4th fairway of Osprey Point Golf Course.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

Great Beach Getaway

We loved our summer vacation! The house was beautiful and clean. We loved watching the golfers from the back deck. The house was a quick drive or bike ride to the beach. We loved everything about the house.

6/19-7/3 vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved being on the golf course and the layout of the house worked perfectly for our family of 4 (even had the grandparents come stay with us for a short time) :) We rode biked, walked, ran, played golf and even shot skeet. The weather was perfect and we visited with friends. It was truly a great trip and we hope to rent there again soon.

The icemaker was a little finicky and the master toilet ran, but I was able to fix both of those without calling maintenance.

Our Stay at 337 Governors

The house was very comfortable, but more suited to a 3 bedroom accommodation than a 4. The # of TV stations were best we have seen in 20 years of vacationing on Kiawah. Appliances great, and they sing! Master bath a dream. House was comfortably cool except for master bedroom, at least 10 degrees HOTTER than rest of house. Not very comfortable, even with door open and fan on. Use of garage a BIG plus. Bike credit helped and the Vaycay people were easy to work with. Nice view from back deck, but could not use back deck because there was no roof and no screen, buggy. Chairs were too hot to sit in. A big negative. Front porch was nice but too noisy there.
Kitchen very nice and roomy. House was clean and free of roaches. unusual for Kiawah. Easy trip to the beach, even for the elderly and children. All in all, we would return if we brought a canopy for the back deck. We had a very relaxing and fun-filled two weeks. Thank you.

Very positive experience In this well appointed home

We had a great time staying at 337 Governors Dr. The home was fresh and clean and well appointed. It appeared that everything in the home was fairly new if not brand new. The appliances and all the kitchen cookware and dishes were in excellent condition. The decorating was very clean and coastal. The location on the golf course was great as well. We truly enjoyed staying here and felt that having the vacation gear credit was a real positive too. We used it to rent bikes which we thoroughly enjoyed using every day. Would recommend this Light, bright, clean, and spacious home.
