Had an incredible stay. The house is beautiful as pictured. Loved the wrap-around porch, open floor plan, high ceilings, large kitchen, large TV, comfortable beds, decor, and proximity to the beach and pool. Used our beach gear credit for bikes that were there waiting for us when we arrived. Loved biking on the beach and the roads and to Night Heron Park. The house felt like home and not a sterile rental as some corporately managed properties can. Would absolutely stay again.

This house was fantastic! We have been going to Kiawah for many years, and this house was everyone's favorite. The location is awesome- a quick walk and you're at the beach. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The screened porch is where we hung out the entire time. We had a great view of the pond, and we could hear the ocean close by. We ate our meals on the porch, and loved sitting on the couch and chairs. We will definitely return!

This was an amazing rental and experience. We walked into the home with music playing through the television. The place was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. If we had a problem, they were quick to respond and take care of it. For example, we ran out of propane for the grill. There was a replacement within the hour. You truly make us feel like such a valued customer. We will text from you on the future.

Everything reinforced the concept of a great getaway. The planning was helped by Akers communications, ready support for getting the right place and making sure all was ready for our arrival. The place is located between a lagoon and the Ocean. We looked a sunrises, walked to the beach to watch in 2 minutes, watched a young college golf tournament out front and a lagoon with fauna in the back. The place was comfortable (two couples) and well equipped. When we needed a bit of hel with a minor plumbing issue, the rental agency responded with support in an hour- all fixed while we were out. The location was very convenient to tennis, golf, beach, restaurants and groceries minus away. Will return - this was our tenth time in Kiawah in 20 years. We'll be back.

A great experience. We’ve been coming to Kiawah for 39 years ( though not every year). The stay at 45 Muirfield may have been our most enjoyable. A lovely home, but primarily we were pleased with the location-a porch on the lagoon teeming with wildlife, a short walk to the beach and a grassy expanse across the street for little boys to throw frisbees/balls.

45 Muirfield has lots of room for families, a large table for family meals, large kitchen, ice maker, great outdoor porch so you can spread out, and 4 full bathrooms. Bathrooms are up-to-date and beds are comfortable. Not much more you could ask for!

We've vacationed on Kiawah Island for many years. This was our favorite stay of all time! Whoever your cleaning service is, kudos to them! This was the cleanest house we've ever stayed in. The location was absolutely perfect!! We fished from the bridge every day. The walk to the beach was short and easy. The Sanctuary was still closed in late May, but had it been open, it's faster to walk than to drive there! The kitchen was more than adequately supplied. We had everything we needed. The outdoor shower was awesome! We ate and played games on the back deck. The temperature was comfortable in every room of the house. We wish we never had to leave!! Just a wonderful place to stay!!

I came to play a tennis tournament on Kiawah Island witha group of 12 people. 5 of us stayed at 45 Muirfield Lane. We also played other sports inc Badminton, Pickleball & Golf

Our house was very spacious, spotlessly clean and perfect for our group

It's location was perfect being 5 minutes from the beach,5 minutes from the tennis club & 5 minutes from the golf club. Our rental included a credit for bike hire and this enabled us to cycle everywhere around the beautiful location

Every year my girlfriends and I take a long weekend "Get Away Trip". This year we chose Kiawah Island and the Charleston area for our adventure. The house was beautiful on the rental page and it lived up to the pictures. We each had our own bedroom and bath. A huge kitchen in cook in, a comfortable living room to lounge and relax in. The porches were beautiful and our view to the front was the golf course, and to the back a lovely lagoon with it's own little island where the alligators lounged all day. The walkway to the beach took mere minutes and then the miles of nice flat beach making walking a pleasure. The Fresh market area was unbelievable with a huge Harris Teeter. Lots of places to eat and shop. We spent our Saturday not even leaving the islands, as we visited the Firefly Sweet Tea Distillery, The Charleston Tea Plantation and The Angel Tree. Sunday brunch was eaten at The Fat Hen (where the locals go - and we can understand why). We did venture into Charleston for shopping at the Outlets and took the Walking Culinary Tasting Tour which was a 5 Star experience. We have so much more we want to do and see, so we will definitely be returning to this beautiful area and the homes available.

We rented 45 Muirfield over the Christmas holidays and we had a wonderful stay. While we are a small family, we enjoyed the space that the house had as everyone had their own floor! It is a great house for a multi-generational family with a nice sized bedroom and bath on the main level. We entertained family that live in the area on Christmas and the kitchen was very well equipped and it was great to have space for 8 at the dining table. From the golf course view in the front, to the lagoon in the back and the easy access to the beach, we enjoyed every part of our stay. This is our second holiday rental from Akers Ellis and we have been very pleased both times.

We had a great trip to Kiawah. Property was as expected from description. Beautiful house. Nice layout and amenities. Great location. Easy access to beach and bike paths. Screened in porch overlooking the lagoon was a particular favorite. Reservation process was seamless. Management companies app made communication and information very efficient. Would definitely stay here again if we make a return visit to Kiawah.

The location of this house on Kiawah is the best of the places we have stayed to date. The house was perfect. Akers Ellis was very attentive to very minor issues we had to mention. I would go through Akers Ellis again.
For families w small children - please watch them if they play on the street in front of the house. Stray golf balls from practicing golfers could be a potential hazard.
All in all - a terrific place to stay in.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Excellent location- less than 5 minute walk to beach. Condition of home fantastic. Great kitchen with ample supplies, enjoyed screened porch with fans. Would certainly rent again. If I had to nitpick, there would be two minor items- one of which could be improved. Only 2 bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. Not big deal if w/family. Also, in 2017 would like to see HD or at least larger than 25" tv in bedrooms.

This was a fabulous family vacation with our adult children, their wives, and our grandson who celebrated his first birthday on our trip! The boys enjoyed their golf and the girls their day at the spa! We all enjoyed our time on the beach and playing games at night on the covered porch! Couldn't have asked for a better kitchen stocked with amenities! Looking forward to doing it again next year (hopefully the same rental). Akers Ellis provided a seamless check in/check out!

We were absolutely delighted with the Villa and would score it 5. This was not our first choice as we booked quite late so we were delighted that it was such a lovely clean and comfortable villa in a very quiet spot so close to the beach.
