The best house ever and the service was equally as good. When we arrived, Kiawah had a bit of weather so the pool needed to be a cleaned a little. I called and they sent someone right over. The house was immaculate and the furnishings were high quality. We felt like the pictures in the listing didn't do the house all the justice because it was just so amazing!! Couldn't recommend this house and Akers Ellis enough!

This was our second year at this property and we will likely try to stay there next year. Great location. The house is spacious and comfortable. There are a few outstanding maintenance items that need repair but nothing that detracts from the property.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at 70 Forestay during the PGA Tournament. The house is excellent for guests as each bedroom has an en suite bathroom, and there is ample space for entertaining. We loved the close proximity to both the shuttle and the beach. Would highly recommend.

Great house for a big family. Grandparents on the first floor master bedroom with all grandchildren and their parents on the second level. The house is very close to the beach, and we had an easy time getting toddlers and babies to the ocean. The house is well-stocked - lots of supplies in the kitchen. Comfortable beds and lots of space. Wrap around porches were excellent and relaxing - nothing like reading a book, sipping a cocktail and listening to the waves crash onto Kiawah's shore!

Enjoyed the house, with a few exceptions, Very musty smell throughout on arrival and continued upstairs for the week. No real decor anywhere, assumed because of Covid, but expected more. Gas fireplace would have been nice as the temperature had cooled first few days. Walking on the beach was simple and is a treasure..

The house is spacious and the location is perfect. You cannot get any closer to the beach other than ocean front. The unit is starting to show some wear and tear (doors sticking) but this does not take away from the experience. Akers Ellis was great as usual.

The pictures do not do justice. This home is beautiful (think restoration hardware meets coastal) and is well kept.

The only constructive criticism I would give is about the alarm. We set the alarm the first night and it was accidentally set off the following morning. There was no code given for the alarm in the binder of information or the app. It would have been helpful to find it in either of those places.

Our group of 10 adult women who have been friends for 38 years greatly enjoyed our time in this lovely home close to Kiawah's beautiful beach. Notable features of the home which enhanced our stay: the beds and bedding were all very comfortable; the dining table was spacious enough for us to all gather around it with a few chairs we brought in from adjoining rooms; the sofas and chairs in the great room were comfortable for long group chats in the evenings; the kitchen was well equipped to allow us to cook and serve meals which we really enjoyed; all the separate bathrooms were spacious and clean; the house was well maintained and everything worked properly; the decor was nice and updated and thoughtful in the way it was arranged throughout the home; the management company was prompt in their response to one small issue we encountered; the location was excellent, right beside a path leading to a quick walk to the beach over a charming boardwalk.

We had 6 guys stay in this house so the 6 bedrooms were ideal. The living areas were very nice, bedrooms were very roomy. Everyone I dealt with at the rental agency was extremely friendly and I would use them for our next trip no doubt. One suggestion...stocking the house with coffee would be a nice touch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 70 Forestay! The house was perfect to accommodate our party of 13, including 4 children. The set up allowed for each couple/family to have their own bathroom -- a real plus -- and the proximity to the beach was excellent. If you're looking for a property that is large enough to accommodate a big group, close to the beach, and conveniently located to access Freshfields Village and all that Kiawah has to offer, look no further.

Akers Ellis was extremely professional, informative, easy to work with and responsive. The property was perfect for our gathering of 6 adult couples for a winter getaway. The only detail I would have expected to be better was the condition of the linens, duvet's, throw pillows. They showed wear and tear, spots and stains. Because Akers Ellis was so responsive, I would definitely rent this property again.

Vacation was great, not nearly long enough. beautiful home, the kids loved the pool! location was perfect just a short walk on the boardwalk to the beach. Very quite and private. This will be a vacation that will not be forgotten. Make sure you check out the beautiful sunrises Spectacular!!!!!!! Would love to be a guest again some day. We had two other families staying with us and used every bedroom. There was plenty of space and we loved having separate baths. House was clean and kitchen was stocked. There were pool and beach toys, boogie boards which was a bonus. Easy walk to beach and pool was a necessity since it was so hot. Cons: house is very warn. Lots of stains on couches, chairs, bedspreads, carpets. Mattresses need to be replaced.

Our family spent a week here in late April...house is a few steps from the beach ( really!) Everyone had their own bedroom & bathroom - home was in outstanding condition upon arrival...clean & everything that was suppose to work...worked. You could not ask for a better location...really! Great home for a large family gathering...the pool was perfect to cool off and for kids.

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! Kiawah in October...bright sunshine, mid 70's temperatures, good friends, great accomodations and outstanding golf. I travelled down with 5 of my buddies and stayed at 70 Forestay COurt. Each of us had our own bedroom with ensuite bathroom and flat screen TV. The house has a great outside deck with pool and BBQ, and there is a relaxing upstairs wrap-around balcony with lounge chairs for a snooze or a good read in the shade. The house is a short 200 yards from the beach and is located close to Osprey and Ocean golf courses, and only a 10-minute drive from Turtle and cougar golf courses and the Sanctuary Hotel. I highly recommend this home.

We loved this house! The only downside was the pool area. There is absolutely no drainage on the deck so that when our grandkids were in and out of the pool there was always standing water which proved very slippery and slick. Akers and Ellis were wonderful
to rent from- the cleaning staff as well as Steve from A and E were great.

The house was nicely suited for our extended family, providing both spacious togetherness and private retreat. The pool, while not large, was most adequate and in near constant use. Beach access was quick and easy. I was ver impressed with the reservation and check-in/out processes. They were clear, straightforward, timely, easy, and transparent. Couldn't have been better. There was a minor maintenance issue and the respinse was quick, friendly, and effective. Akers Ellis is by far the most professional rental agency with which I have worked, on Kiawah or elsewhere.

We really liked the property. The only real problem for us was that the mattresses are way too soft. I also thought the master bath shower water pressure was too light and the driveway is difficult to navigate in and out. Otherwise, a great property.
