This was a wonderful home for our family of grown adult children and adult parents and friends. 2 separate houses meant that the older adults didn’t wake the younger too early, and the younger adults didn’t keep the older ones up past our bedtime! It made for a happy well-rested group…

Such a great floor plan for multi-generational travel. Everyone had a room they enjoyed for their age with plenty of bathrooms and amenities. Great family retreat.

Overall stay was very nice. It’s always a plus to get away to nice quiet area without all the normal city hustle and bustle. Only complaint is for the cost of the house we expected things to be a lot cleaner. Just a few examples, hairs in the shower, built up dust and grim in the corners throughout the home, stained/worn furniture, and extra blankets not cleaned.

The house has been perfect for us. However, there are several housekeeping elements that should be improved:
1. Lights burned out in master bathroom
2. Cleaning supplies left in yard by driveway..paper towel roll and cleaning product
3. Kitchen porcelain sink was very stained. We cleaned with Chlorox which totally took care of staining.
4. Old hair bands and other small items left under bed in guest house. We vacuumed as it had not been cleaned.
5. Small shelves in kitchen had not been dusted in quite awhile. Again, we cleaned.
6. Few extra rolls of toilet paper in bathrooms. Some bathrooms had none.
7. Akers Ellis individual arrived at the house on two occasions without prior call. He was very nice, polite, but did not put on his mask until asked as he was walking into the house. A prior call would have been much appreciated and having a mask on when we opened the door...essential.

I very much appreciated the thoughtful attention of Gerald Houcks who was most attentive. He made all the difference for us in ensuring a safe and great vacation. Thank you!

House is perfect for a family with children. Pool is great!

We had 3 families at this house (Grandparents -2) Sister family - 4 and my family -5. Fit perfect. The pool house is more than enough to fit our family. Main house was perfect for the rest. Everything from check in to check out was fabulous. Pool, grill, kitchen, deck, beds...everything. The only item we had a bit of trouble with was the refrigerator, it had a hard time keeping items cold. In order to get to the beach it is a 3 minute drive. Some of us biked while the other drove, dropped people off and then parked. Not a big deal at all. The beaches are the best here. Will stay again.

We stayed at this location with 4 families - from Grandparents down to grandkids. It was perfect! The separation gave the kids a place of their own - while also giving the adults some time together. The pool was amazing(we went July 4th week) - the perfect treat after coming in off the golf course. The house is well equipped - the kitchen had everything we needed for making meals and the grill on the deck was used - a lot! The house was very clean and well cared for. We would happily rent hear again. We did have one glitch while we were there (drain got clogged) and the property managers were out within a few hours to fix it. Amazing service!

Great property for our large, extended family. We loved having the guest house - great place for the teens to hang out. Lots of space so we did not feel on top of each other. We really liked the pool! We would rent here again with no concerns.

Our family of 5 (three children ages 6,3.5,1) and the grandparents stayed at this great house. The property was very clean and felt very homey. The pool provided hours of entertainment for our young children. The beach was just around the corner, but does require either a bike ride or 2 minute car ride to a lot, then a short walk through a beach access. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. This property would be perfect for multiple families or extended families or families with older children that could stay in the guest house.

The set up of this house could not have been more perfect. We are a family of six (kids ages 9, 11, 12, and 14) travelling with another family of four (kids ages 12 and 15). The adults got to relax in the main house while the kids had a blast in the guest house. The foosball table was a big hit and led to some family vs. family games. We cooked most meals at home and found the kitchen to have all the supplies necessary to make a large dinner. The beds were very comfortable and there was a good selection of pillows. My only regret is that it wasn't warm enough to swim in the pool. I guess that means that we'll have to come back this summer!
