Plenty of space with comfortable beds! Short walk to beach with credit for bikes. We lived riding bikes and exploring the island. We ate most meals in our condo with a kitchen to cook in easily. We enjoyed all of the wildlife we saw and the area overlooking the lagoon was so pretty!

We enjoyed the unit which was bright, airy and modern. All the appliances ran smoothly, and we loved how close it was to the beach! We also enjoyed the bikes and went out biking every day!
I missed the screened-in porch that our other rentals had (it was enclosed), but my husband enjoyed the extra space.
Kiawah is truly a beautiful place!

Such a beautiful unit overlooking a pond. Decorated so nice and though very roomy, it still felt so cozy and comfortable. Our rented bikes were waiting for us upon arrival. This unit is very close to the beach compared to many others in this huge complex. The ride is just across the street and also very walkable. Communication is easy with the rental company. The first day was rainy and we were so happy hanging out. The second day we able to bike to tennis, restaurants and the beach! We would stay at this unit again! Enjoy!

Having stayed at several AE properties over the last couple of years, this is by far our favorite! The location is convenient to the beach, Sanctuary, and Market, and is in a very quiet, private cul-de-sac. The updates are very nice, and having the former porch enclosed adds so much living space. Coupled with the high ceilings, this villa feels so much larger than other villas of similar square footage. The kitchen had everything we needed, including great non-stick frying pans and sharp knives, which honestly is kind of unusual. My teenagers enjoyed having smart TVs in the bedrooms. The single negative I have is that we could never locate the remote for the living room ceiling fan, even with the help of housekeeping, so we were unable to use the light/fan. But seriously, this is so very minor is light of all the pluses! I have moved this to the top of my "Rent Again" list!

This condo was fantastic! We’ve been going to Kiawah for years and this was by far the nicest condo we’ve stayed in. Everything was recently updated- kitchen was spacious and beautiful and fully equipped, the master and master bathroom were fantastic, all of the furniture was gorgeous, tv was big and very simple to use, etc., etc. We will definitely stay here in the future. Also a very pleasant 5 minute walk to the beach! Highly, highly recommend this place!

We loved our weekend get away at Turtle Cove. The Villa was perfect upon arrival after a late night drive with lights on and music playing. It was clean and designed well. The only thing I would say is the bath mat was still wet from the previous tenant it seemed like. We were very comfortable and appreciated the other reviews when booking! We will be returning to Turtle Cove or another Akers's property sooner rather than later.

Overall, the combination of a a nice property in a solid location is hard to beat. There were a few minor hiccups - the towel rod hardware in the guest bathroom was loose / there appears to be some mold around a few of the vents (living room and master bathroom) - however, those issues are easily overcome by the beauty of the property.

This villa was one of the best we've stayed at in Kiawah. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans for cooking and the layout was great for families with kids (bedrooms on either end of the unit). Bedrooms were even very roomy. Everything was clean and we all loved the modern decor. Walking to the beach was about a 7 min walk. The only slight is that there isn't a path to the beach; you have to walk in the street. Though the street does lead to less traveled houses along the beach. This is so small of an issue, but one to be aware of if you have little kids. Otherwise the location is great!

The unit has a great layout and is nicely updated and decorated. Would definitely recommend this unit and would rent it again. Unit included all the amenities including HDTV with full cable TV package and HDMI cables so we could also watch Netflix. Short 5-7 minute walk to the beach. We rented bikes for the week and loved exploring the island. Property Mgmt company (Akers Ellis) made the checkin very easy and they were also available if we needed anything. Would recommend Akers Ellis for rentals too.

Only complaint is that the tile floors and bathrooms were NOT very clean. The Cleaning Service Company should be informed and corrected on this.

This is a lovely, updated villa that is fairly close to the beach. It was clean and airy -- loved the stone floors! The kitchen had everything we needed and Akers Ellis had even provided a package of gourmet coffee upon our arrival, which was a nice touch. We were surprised to find down pillows on the beds. We rented bikes and zipped to the beach each day. You could see the lagoon from our living area. It is on the second floor so that could be a problem for people who don't like stairs. We will ask for this villa again! Akers Ellis was wonderful to work with!

I would rate my experience as a 5. As a matter of fact, please add a few additional zeros to that, because it was that wonderful! This was the first time in a good number of years that I can honestly say that I was truly sad to leave a vacation destination.Regarding our particular unit, there were 2 minor maintenance issues. These did not impact our enjoyment of the week, but I thought they might be mentioned. One issue involved the shower faucets. They either need to be replaced or repaired in both bathrooms. They easily come off. And the other is regarding the knobs on the kitchen drawers. One in particular kept coming off, and upon inspection, the threads appear stripped. Finally, there could be some additional silverware and coffee cups provided. We kept running out of these, and I am not one to run a dishwasher only half-full. In conclusion, these issues are certainly not deal-breakers, and we will be booking with your company again. We loved our first experience of South Carolina, and we had a fabulous time on Kiawah Island as well as in Charleston.

Without a doubt, we would rate our stay with a 5+. We are previous homeowners and have been coming to Kiawah for over 20 years. After selling our house we began renting and were not always satisfied until we started using your agency. During this particular stay our villa lacked a couple minor items. I reluctantly called your office and apologized with the request. Within an hour the items were delivered with an apology. Needless to say, we were impressed.

We were very satisfied with the 4852 Turtle Cove Villa. The additional square footage in the living room, made possible by enclosing the porch, was a plus. The fact that the area had not simply been closed in but left open to the existing living area made the overall space very inviting. This unit's upgrades in the kitchen area were also a plus. We will request this villa again on our next visit to Kiawah. Akers Ellis has always done a good job finding nice accommodations for my family when visiting Kiawah.

Beautiful villa, great location, AWESOME PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY!!!! The villa was clean, spacious and newly remodeled. We were a long walk or a short bike ride from the beach - easy to do with two 9 year olds. Unfortunately during our stay the air conditioning broke (it happens). The property management company returned our call in less than 1 hour on a holiday weekend, immediately moved us to another villa even CLOSER to the beach, and even offered to help my husband move our stuff. They also provided us with a credit towards our stay. I cannot say enough about their professionalism and responsiveness...would definitely rent this unit again (AC was replaced :)) and rent through this company!

Very nicely decorated unit. This unit has added extra square footage by eliminating the screened in porch. Wonderful kitchen! Surround sound and tv equipment all an extra bonus (especially if it rains)! Our only complaint was the dryer was very old and got hot and the master bedroom ceiling fan didn't work. That was it! We would difinately stay in this unit again! Less then a two minute ride to the beach!

The condo was incredibly well furnished from the very nice furniture to an incredibly well equipped kitchen. The TVs, were great and it was a nice touch to have pleasant music playing when we arrived. The only problem we had was with the fans, which were confusing at best and in the case of the bedroom didn't seem to work at all.

The only down side to this property is the lack of a patio or sunroom. It's not a big deal but it would be nice to have somewhere to have a cup of coffee in the morning. Wouldn't stop me from coming back but just something we noticed. Really the ONLY thing negative thing we noticed.
