We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was perfect for our family of four. It was so much better than staying at a hotel because we had two full bathrooms, a kitchen and more. It was the perfect amount of space for us not to feel on top of each other by the end of the trip. As the mom, I loved that I didn't have to do anything before checking out. That made a HUGE difference to not have a laundry list (pun intended) of things to handle before leaving. The balcony was great. Access into the unit was easy. The credit for beach gear was perfect. We had a nice time, as always, during our long weekend in Kiawah. The condo was clean when we arrived. We didn't have any major issues with the condo. The few things we noticed were no tall glasses/plastic cups for drinks, the kitchen faucet was missing the button for changing the water stream, we did figure out how to change it, although it was awkward.

This condo met all our needs. Clean and updated. Slight issue with the dryer vent, but other than that it was great. My only complaint wasn’t with the condo but the building. It needs to be maintained better. Doors need painting and hallways and stairwells need cleaning. Other than that I would highly recommend 5135. Views are amazing!!

We’ve stayed at three different condos in the big building, and this was the best yet. It’s updated, has good TV and streaming options, and a marvelous shower. Only complaint was the difficulty of using the sliding door onto the balcony.

The property is really nice. Who wouldn’t want to watch the sunrise from the balcony or bedroom? The views are beautiful, and the location is convenient to the Sanctuary Hotel. My only complaint is that the furniture doesn’t comfortably fit in the main bedroom. The footboard sticks out, and my husband and I got multiple bruises from running into it. If they adjusted the bed frame or removed the chest in front of it, you could comfortably walk around the bed. Also, it doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned under the beds. We noticed when we checked that nothing got under the beds upon leaving. Overall though, the condo was wonderful and we would stay there again. Thx!

Our family had a great vacation in Kiawah in October. Despite an ongoing pandemic, the condo was very clean and everyone in the area was very socially-distanced. We enjoyed the condo. It was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this property for future visitors.

This is the second time we have rented this beautiful, comfortable, and clean condo in Windswept. The views of the beach are exceptional, and we enjoy the location in the middle of Kiawah, close to the Sanctuary hotel. Our whole family including teen children love biking the island in the morning, reading and lunch on the balcony, beach time in the afternoon, and walks in the evening. We cook most of our meals during our stay, and the kitchen makes this easy and a joy. We have visited Kiawah every summer for the past 6 years, and it always leaves us feeling refreshed and renewed!

Our family had a wonderful week in this condo. It had a well stocked kitchen and an amazing location. The beds were all comfortable and the master shower was really nice! The condo provided a really cozy and comfortable place away from the beach, but yet because of the view it still felt like you were at the beach! We plan to stay here again.

We had a wonderful beach experience. The rental unit was perfect for the two of us, with easy beach access. The master bedroom was a bit cramped because of the over-sized furniture. My only recommendation would be the addition of a table lamp in the living room area. Akers Ellis Rentals, LLC is a great company to deal with and we hope to rent from them again next year.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend in May. The views cannot be beat! The unit itself was very clean and has been recently updated. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessary cooking utensils which typically isn't the case with rentals. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

AE Rentals made access to this condo very convenient - passes thru security printed at home before we left, and lock box code was emailed to us while we were already en route ( 2 day drive). It meant meant no need to stop anywhere to pick up keys. Might be a difficult procedure for someone without printer or email access. Condo was nicely remodeled. There is some wear and tear, staining, on bedroom carpets, otherwise spotlessly clean. Balcony is pretty small, especially with such bulky furniture, but it is still oceanfront. I would use this company again.

Wonderful ocean views from the balcony and most rooms, pelicans flew by at eye level! Elevator was very convenient to have. Slept well in master bedroom. The description was accurate. Needed more towels and glasses.
Had a fabulous dinner at Royal Tern Restaurant on Maybank Hiway. Owner trained at Le Cordon Bleu, Paris, superb service. Highly recommend this rental. We have visited Kiawah for many years, this was one of our best vacations.

Property description was accurate. The 5th floor condo was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. We enjoyed the restaurants at Turtle Point Golf Clubhouse, the Ocean Course (call for reservations) and the Night Heron Grill at the resort, as well as, King Street Grill, LaTella Pizzeria in Freshfields Village. Magnolia's in Charlestown on East Bay St was excellent. We also enjoyed dinners at McCann's Irish Pub just on the right before the entrance to Seabrook Isand and Fischer's Sports Pub .

Overall we were very happy with our condo. It was well furnished, very clean and had a beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony. The only improvement I would suggest is that it is time for some new mattresses. The current ones are quite worn. The living room couch was a bit "sqaushy" too but it was a sofa bed. But otherwise it was just perfect.

This was our first time in Kiawah. This 5th floor condo was in a perfect location. We enjoyed the views and listening to the ocean. The villa was adequately stocked. Bathroom and kitchen updates were very nice. The living room furniture could use an upgrade, the couch especially. Additionally pillows and towels could be improved, but overall we were very satisfied.

We were there for Hermine and a had a lovely time. Some minor issues with the unit:
Low water pressure in the kitchen sink ( called but it was not resolved)
Waging machine did not work on the "normal" cycle.
Furniture is a bit formal for our taste.
Would prefer high table and chairs on the deck to be able to see over the rail.

Considering the destination Kiawah, the company's expertise in leasing operations, and finally the condo, I would give a 4+ rating overall. Some floors seemed a little dirty, but the balance of the condo was very clean!

Everything in the condo was wonderful. Great kitchen and appliances, beautiful ocean view from the master bedroom and balcony. Bathrooms are completely updated and pure luxury. Enjoyed our stay, wish the weather would have cooperated...chilly and windy. Had a problem with the AC but Akers property management addressed it quickly and professionally.

The unitwas beautiful and the pictureson the internet didn't do it justice. The location was perfect and so accessible to the beach and boardwalk. The unit was stocked with everything you needed from kitchen items to linens and towels. The decor is all updated and beautiful. We will be back in June and hope to stay at this same unit. This condo is Great! From the decor to the appliances all first class. All of the amenities you could want. It was our third visit to Kiawah and we will definitely stay here again. Would definitely recommend this condo.

We spent a great week on Kiawah at this beautiful Windswept Villa. As we walked in, I felt as if I was entering a display model....beautifully and comfortably decorated. The location was perfect as well. If/when we return to Kiawah, this villa would be

A very nice condo. In great condition. Some things that should be looked at include the following:

The elevator temp. was well over 100 degrees. Use of energy saving bulbs wouls save money and reduce heat build up.

There are no serving plates in the condo.

A luggage cart to help on check in and check out days would be VERY helpful.

Have stayed on the island many times and the view from 5135 is among the best.

Property was in excellent condition. It had recently been refurbished. Everything was new. The view of the beach is perfect. The access to the beach is easy. We will return!

We had an incredible week at Kiawah while staying in this wonderful Villa! As the description states, it has been fully remodeled top to bottom and beautifully done. We can't say enough about it. The location within Kiawah is perfect, and the views and the breeze on the 5th floor balcony were incredible. Selfishly I wish I could send you somewhere else so this beauty stays perfect for our next stay, but i can't do that. Additionally, the property management firm was very easy to deal with during the rental process and very responsive to minor requests we had during our stay. We hope you enjoy as much as we did!
