Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! Nestled in the heart of West Beach on a quiet cul-de-sac, this Greenslake cottage feels tucked away yet is close to all Kiawah Island has to offer. The cottage offers two bedrooms, overlooks the lagoon and Cougar Point Golf Course and has access to a seasonal community pool. The cottage is about an 8-minute walk from the beach.

The recently renovated cottage features an open floor plan that allows for a seamless flow throughout the home. In the kitchen you will find stainless steel appliances, new countertops with ample space, beautiful white cabinetry as well as new flooring and lighting. The light-filled living area has comfortable seating, a TV, and sliding glass doors leading to the rear deck. Guests can also relax in the adjacent sunroom, which has gorgeous views of the golf course.

The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed, balcony overlooking Cougar Point Golf Course, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an attached bathroom with a shower/tub combo. This bathroom is also accessible from the hall.

Prepare to be enamored by the expansive lagoon views from the cottage's rear deck. Watch Kiawah Island's diverse wildlife frolic in the lagoon, dine al fresco, or simply relax on this open-air deck. The back portion of the deck offers lovely Cougar Point Golf Course views. An outdoor shower is located in the front of the cottage and is perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach.

The cottage is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Dogs under 25 pounds are welcome for an additional fee of $50 per pet per day.

Guests have access to the community pool (approximately 55ft x 20ft). The pool is unheated and open seasonally.

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

We have been coming to Kiawah Island for the last 20 years. It has always been one of our favorite spots. The cottage we stayed at was perfect. Easy to get to from the beach as well as the market at Freshfields and stores. We couldn’t have been happier. We can’t wait to go back and look forward to staying in the same area, West Beach, same time next year. Thank you for more amazing memories.

The remodel was fantastic!!! I loved the added touch of having LIVE plants in the house... This added a great touch! I felt even more at home... The location is our absolute favorite on the water. Excellent privacy, while super close to the ocean...We would love to see the bathrooms remodeled as well...We will return again and again. Thank you...

Lovely place to stay!

Peaceful, serene location with lovely deck on the lagoon. Herons, egrets, leaping frogs and alligators often sighted. Short walk to beach. Many windows for natural light. Lovely place to stay!
