Description

Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! Nestled in the heart of West Beach on a quiet cul-de-sac, this Greenslake cottage feels tucked away yet is close to all Kiawah Island has to offer. The cottage offers two bedrooms, overlooks the lagoon and Cougar Point Golf Course, and has access to a seasonal community pool. The cottage is about an 8-minute walk from the beach.

The cottage features an open floor plan that allows the living, dining, and kitchen areas to flow seamlessly. The light-filled living area has comfortable seating, a TV, and sliding glass doors leading to the rear deck. Guests can also relax in the adjacent sunroom, which has gorgeous views of the golf course and additional seating (including a twin sleeper chair), a TV, and a desk with an office chair. The updated kitchen has stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and a breakfast bar with barstool seating. Gather around the wooden table in the dining area to enjoy your vacation meals or have a game night with the family.

The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed, TV, balcony overlooking Cougar Point Golf Course, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds and an attached bathroom with a shower/tub combo. This bathroom is also accessible from the hall.

Prepare to be enamored by the expansive lagoon views from the cottage's rear deck. Watch Kiawah Island's diverse wildlife frolic in the lagoon, dine al fresco, or simply relax on this open-air deck. The back portion of the deck offers lovely Cougar Point Golf Course views. An outdoor shower is located in the front of the cottage and is perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach.

The cottage is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Guests have access to the community pool (approximately 55ft x 20ft). The pool is unheated and open seasonally.

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

Charming cottage (without the kitschy beach decor that is so overdone), wonderful secluded location, friendly deer/birds/squirrels (and an alligator or two in the lagoon), and gorgeous beach and biking trails. Loverly!

Lovely place to stay!

Peaceful, serene location with lovely deck on the lagoon. Herons, egrets, leaping frogs and alligators often sighted. Short walk to beach. Many windows for natural light. Lovely place to stay!
