Travel protection is coverage for risks incidental to your trip. It can reimburse 100% of your non-refundable trip cost if you need to cancel or cut your trip short due to: the sudden illness or death of a traveler, family member, or travel companion; a hurricane, tropical storm, or other natural disaster that triggers a mandatory evacuation or makes your destination inaccessible; a job loss, legal obligation, or other qualifying unforeseen event; travel delays, missed connections, or lost, damaged, or delayed baggage; or emergency medical expenses incurred while you're away from home.
Plans are available for US residents, Canadian residents, and international guests. Coverage is optional and must be purchased within 14 days of booking.
Want the ultimate flexibility? Add the Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) upgrade and get in addition 100% coverage for listed reasons, up to 60% of your insured trip cost back if you cancel for any reason not otherwise covered — as long as you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled arrival.
