Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This newly built Kiawah Island vacation rental is settled in Vanderhorst Plantation. It features 6 bedrooms, a private pool and spa, a spacious pool house, and a stunning screened porch. This home offers a short-6 minute walk to the nearest beach!

This property is unrivaled! Walk right in and immediately notice all the spectacular details, soft neutral hues, and natural light. In the living area, you will find comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, and access to the screened porch. The gourmet kitchen area offers upscale cabinetry and all the essentials to prepare your vacation meals. It also features a spacious center island with barstool seating for 5 and views of the pool deck. Adjacent to the kitchen area is the beautiful dining area that sits 8.

You will also find a half-bathroom just down the first-floor hall.

The large, first-floor primary suite features a king-sized bed, seating for 2, a wall-mounted TV, and access to a private bathroom with his and her sinks, a walk-in shower, and a soaking tub.

The secondary bedroom is also found on the first floor and features two twin-sized beds and access to a private, secondary bathroom with his and her sinks and a walk-in shower.

Walk up to the second floor and be greeted by a media room that includes comfortable seating and a wall-mounted TV.

The second floor features 3 bedrooms all with king-sized beds, additional seating, and private walk-in showers.

It also offers a kid-friendly, built-in bunk room with 2 twin over queen beds (max occupancy for this room is 4). This room is equipped with a sixth bathroom (also accessible from the hall) featuring a double sink vanity and shower and bathtub combination.

Outside, the spacious screened porch with a TV is perfect for relaxing or enjoying family game nights.

The beautiful back deck also invites you to sit back and unwind. Go for a swim, soak in the spa, or lounge poolside- the possibilities are endless! Enjoy the air-conditioned pool house as it offers an opportunity to cool off, lounge by the TV, or take a quick bathroom break.

The spa can be heated for an additional $75/per day.

The pool comes with a gas heater, so it may be heated in cooler months for $75/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.

The home is equipped with a washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Please note that this property has an exterior security camera that views the home's front entrance. This camera serves to protect both the property owner and rental guests.

The home also features an elevator that is available upon request. For safety, the elevator is kept locked for guests who do not require its service.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $400. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

Great place! Great host! The house was newer and it was the perfect place to house our family vacation. My advice, pay to get the pool heated. It was the highlight for the kids.

Tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, everything seemed brand new. Wonderful spa and pool, quiet spot very close to beach and paths. We have stayed in many home rentals over the years and this was by far the nicest in every way.

Immaculate home, beautifully decorated. Comfortable beds and lots of space to hang out. Peaceful surroundings. Akers Ellis was very quick to respond when we asked for extra blankets for the beds, and how to turn on the gas fireplace (unfortunately the fireplace isn't available for guests.) It was an enjoyable stay for our girls' weekend!
