Description

Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This Kiawah Island vacation rental features 3 bedrooms, an open floor plan, and a large screened porch. The home is about a 10-minute bike ride to the beach.

The well-appointed living and dining rooms have vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and a dual fireplace (not for guest use). The living area offers a sofa, 3 chairs, a 40" flatscreen TV, DVD player, and external speakers. In the dining area, the large farmhouse table is ideal for family dinners or entertaining. There's a wonderful selection of books and games for those evenings when you just want to hang out and enjoy the serenity of Kiawah. The fully equipped kitchen has white cabinets, granite countertops, plenty of pantry space, and a wall-mounted TV.

Each of the 3 bedrooms have a private bathroom, walk-in closet and flat screen TV. The master bedroom, has a king bed, access to the screened porch, chair and desk, Bose radio and a luxurious bathroom with large glass door shower, jacuzzi tub and dual vanity. The second bedroom has a queen bed, a chair for reading, Bose radio and a shower/tub combo. The third bedroom features 2 twin beds, a chair and bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

Enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink on the large screened porch that has a gorgeous view of the 7th fairway of Osprey Point golf course. You can also catch some sun on the open-air deck that features 2 lounge chairs and a gas grill. Guests do not have access to the garage.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

Fabulous Vacation

Great house. Beautifully decorated. Lots of seating areas. Our favorite was sitting on the screened in porch watching the golfers. Location is a little far from beach but fine by bike. Best part of location is right across from tower to watch sunsets. One other family favorite was the ice maker! Always love vacation in Kiawah and this was another great Akers Ellis home.

Pleasant Stay in Kiawah

We had a relaxing two weeks at the house. It was a great size and layout for our family of five. It was well stocked and nicely furnished. We spent most of our time and had dinners on the screened porch, enjoying the golf course views. Our bike ride to the beach was 10 minutes and lovely. The home was clean overall, but needs a deep clean of baseboards, corners, kitchen drawers/cabinets, under furniture. We would stay here again.

Family golf and beach retreat

We love Kiawah and loved this house. It was sparkling clean and had a lovely view of the 7th tee box on Osprey. The screened in porch was perfect for early am and our dinners.
The house is beautifully decorated and the ice machine was an added and well used bonus!

perfect house for 2 parents and 2 grown children. Could use a little updating inside (like 1990's TV in maste rbedroom.) This was our second year in a row staying. Rxcellent location. Unfortunately maid on check out day could have been a little more patient instead of unlocking the front door herself at EXACTLY 10AM and letting herself start cleaning around us.

Kiawah Governors Drive Home

We had a wonderful week at this fantastic home with our family! The home is beautifully decorated and furnished. It is very spacious and accomodating. The kitchen is especially well equipped with everything you need to cook and serve. My husband and I enjoyed our quiet time in the mornings on the porch sipping coffee and tea, reading and enjoying the lovely view of the lagoon and golf course. We had great bike rides all over the island everyday, and enjoyed lots of beach time as well. We've been coming to Kiawah for 30 years and this home was one of the best we've stayed at!

Golf and nature paradise
