Description

Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This Kiawah Island vacation rental, located in Vanderhorst Plantation, offers 5 bedrooms, a private saltwater pool and spa, and plenty of indoor/outdoor living space. The home is situated on a quiet cut-de-sac off Flyway and is about a 2-minute walk to the beach.

The main living space is ideal for large families with a comfortable couch, chaise lounge, plenty of chairs, TV, and access to the deck. The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, vast cabinet space and 4 barstools for seating around the island. The eat-in kitchen has a table and chairs that seat 4, a built-in bench that wraps around the large window, and a desk area. The dining room has a table and chairs that seat 10 that is perfect for family meals while on vacation.

On the first floor there is a master bedroom with a king bed, TV, access to the back deck and pool and a private bathroom with shower, luxurious tub, private toilet area and large walk-in closet. Also downstairs, is a queen bedroom with a TV, access to the screened porch and a bathroom with shower/tub combo that can be accessed from the bedroom or the hallway. The large laundry space completes the downstairs. Upstairs, you will find a king bedroom with its own private balcony and TV, a queen bedroom, and a bedroom with a twin over twin bunk bed and a full over full bunk bed. There is a 4K OLED TV in the “media area” of the bunk room, with Apple TV. There are 2 hallway bathrooms also located upstairs.

The screened porch offers ample seating, a porch swing, and a lovely view of the pool. Outside the porch, you will find the large IPE deck with the pool and spa. The saltwater pool is roughly 20 x 40 and has a sun shelf. Guests will also enjoy the convenience of the outdoor shower.

The home is equipped with Sonos throughout the house, washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. Guests do not have access to the garage.

Please note that this property has an exterior security camera that views the home's front entrance. This camera serves to protect both the property owner and rental guests.

This pool cannot be heated. The spa may be heated for an additional fee of $100 per day.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $400. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

This house was amazing. We have small kids (1-3) and have never been able to relax like we could at this home. The pool and short walk to the beach made it a dream come true. We will be back for many more trips at this home.

Wonderful beach home

Great family home, close to the beach with a great pool!

This is our second stay at 97 Jackstay- and we enjoyed it even more this visit. The home’s interior has been updated a bit and the beds are super comfy. Our family enjoys the cute bunk room for the kids, the extra large pool with hot tub and that it is a quick walk to the beach. We also enjoy the peace and tranquillity of being in the Vanderhost portion of Kiawah. We have rented from Akers Ellis a dozen times and have always been impressed with their service and professionalism.

Family vacation 2020

House and location were great minus a few bumps, like the front door lock didn’t work, numerous light bulbs were out, black mold in upstairs bathroom and the freezer was dirty. These things did not stop us from enjoying the house and area! Super close to beach, great pool! Management came quickly to fix door lock. Wish the weather had been a little better but that’s summer in the south! We all loved the screen porch and swing too!

Awesome Week on Kiawah Island

Our 27th multi generation Family Vacation was a great success. The house is beautiful, well appointed, great place for a large family to be together. Dining room was awesome, as the table was large enough for our party of 11. The pool provided lots of fun, large enough for everyone, without being crowded. Also just a short walk to the beach. There was a real quality grill on the deck, we make good use of. Lots of seating on the deck also, along with a very nice screened porch. The Management Company Responded quickly with our questions.
All was good. Would definitely stay here again.
