Brian Sullivan

Raised in Cincinnati, OH, Brian Sullivan attended Miami University where he earned a B.S. and a commission in the U.S. Navy. He served 8 years active duty as a Surface Line Officer in Jacksonville, FL, Japan, and finally Gainesville, FL, where he completed his service as an NROTC instructor at the University of Florida. He moved to Charleston to be closer to his relocated family in 2000. He has since managed property management operations for Kiawah Island Golf Resort and a smaller property management firm as well as sold real estate across the greater Charleston area. Brian joined the Akers Ellis team in 2016. He lives in West Ashley and much of his extended family now calls the Lowcountry home. He is an avid endurance athlete and coach who has completed numerous marathons, triathlons, cycling and open water swimming challenges as well as trained dozens of athletes for triathlons and marathons, all while fundraising for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training in Charleston.
