A lovely home in a great location. This is our 6th year staying here and already signed up for next year.
It takes a very tall person to operate the stacked washer/dryer and a very short person to operate the microwave, but other than that it is a great deal.

We have gone to Kiawah almost every year for over 40 years. We have stayed in many villas and houses, but return most frequently to the Duneside Villas for their great location and reasonable cost. 1105 has everything we could have needed. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Some unique positives about 1105 are an outdoor water faucet so we could wash our feet there instead of at the sometimes crowded shower and faucet on the boardwalk, a shorter walk to the beach than from some of the Duneside Villas and fewer stairs up to the front door which makes unloading easier. We loved the high table and chairs on the screened porch for views of the ocean. We were so glad the little community pool was open this year; our kids and grandkids have always enjoyed having that pool just a short walk away.

My family loved this rental unit. It was spotless, very comfortable, had a great layout and an excellent location. The view and proximity to the beach made it especially enjoyable. The owners of this home did a great job at some point renovating the property, but it's obvious that renters have abused it. It is clean, but you could see wear on the couches, rugs, pillows, etc. Two things to note though: The Queen and King beds are SUPER hard. We all woke up with numb arms and legs in the middle of the night. NOT comfortable at all. If you stay here, bring a big squishy mattress pad! Also, the coffee pot is drip, but does not take normal filters! It takes those funny pointy ones. We had to rush out and buy them our first night (after already ordering all of the groceries we thought we needed for the week... including standard coffee filters).

Though we try to have the bedrooms separated more, this villa was roomy enough fir the six of us. Love the screened in porch! Everything is updated and in good working condition. They even gave a water hose hooked up at the bottom of the stairs. So smart! It’s a little things!

The perfect location! Kids loved running to the beach and home from it independently if they needed to get a snack, use the bathroom, etc. loved taking long (30 minute) bike rides to the hotel and back. Place is cute!

Although our stay was cut short by Hurricane Dorian we were very pleased with the villa. The villa is recently remodeled and was done very nicely. Loved the view and the outdoor space. The location to the front of the island was nice for access to fresh fields and the new cougar point club house. The villa was very clean we would highly recommend.

My family of 6 (3 adults, 1 teenager, 2 young kids) stayed at this property for a week and it was incredible. You cannot get closer to the beach. It is only a 2 minute walk on the boardwalk over the dunes to the beach. The views of the ocean from the condo are amazing. The kitchen and bathrooms are new and modern. The decor and bedding are light, bright, fresh and new. There is access to a small, simple pool, also about a 2 minus walk, that was nice for cooling off in after a day on the beach. The $300 VanKay rental credit was also a great perk! We rented bikes, chairs and umbrellas which I would highly recommend. The condo does come with a few beach towels in addition to the bath towels. The management company, Akers Ellis, was always available, friendly and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

You cannot get closer to the beach than this villa. It is right next to boardwalk 2 which leads over the dunes down to the beach. less than a 2 min walk. the views from the condo of the ocean are amazing. The kitchen and bathrooms are new, modern, and have all the needed amenities. The bedrooms and decor are light, bright, fresh and new. There is also access to a small, simple pool, also less than a 2 minute walk, that was wonderful for cooling off after a day on the beach. We took advantage of the $300 VanKay beach gear credit and rented bikes, chairs and umbrellas. I definitely recommending that!

Don’t judge a book by its cover. I was worried about the location and exterior looks . We loved it! Easy private boardwalk to the beach- only 8 steps up to the front door unlike many other units that would be very difficult to navigate with children or elderly folks. Beautiful ocean views.. the place was decorated with such warmth .. new everything.. bathrooms.. kitchen..
Akers Ellis was so professional and accommodating... would booknwith them in a heartbeat. My husband hurt his back and they came to help with luggage since I was pregnant.
In terms of location- west beach - very quiet end of Kiawah Island. At the beginning sonclose to Freshfields where we would go grocery shopping and get food. It’s away from the sanctuary where it gets busier. The public beach was closed for renovation which is not far from the unit so not sure if that’ll affect the crowds.

Gorgeous beachfront house! Every effort was made to ensure that our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. The home was exquisite and the rental company was extremely responsive and helpful. The home had everything you could think of to make your stay easy and enjoyable, things like a cooler and boogie boards which were very nice extras. They even had a pack and play set up and children's training potty in anticipation of our children being there. They really go the extra mile. The view of the ocean from the home was gorgeous. We even witnessed deer in the backyard as we were eating dinner! The nature around the home was gorgeous

I would rate this experience a 5 as we were all very satisfied with the accommodations. We really loved being able to access the home and check out without having to come to the office.The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. One note, there were a couple of large roaches in the living room one night, which we killed. I realize this is probably part of being in a natural setting, so it was not a real big deal. We hope to return next season!

We rented for four months as we closed out our 31st consecutive year of coming to Kiawah. There were a few needs and they were addressed quickly by the staff. We like the smaller more personable agencies like yours. An inch of snow greeted us today; we left Kiawah too early.

The location and the property is very nice -- just exactly as described in the VRBO listing. The views from living room and especially from the screened deck were spectacular. Our stay coincided with Hurricane Sandy's march to the north and then east. Fortunately for us South Carolina, especially this southern coast, were spared. Nonetheless it was exciting to watch the waves. The access to such a long and wide beach was real easy. Sunrises were spectacular. My wife and I were by ourselves so we had plenty of room in the villa and were pleased with the accommodations and what Kiawah Island has to offer. Laurie Akers was very helpful in making all arrangements.
