This was our 5th year at Kiawah renting with Akers Ellis and have always had a great experience. They make it seamless for making reservations to check-in/check-out and are prompt with any unexpected issues that might pop up. Everyone is so pleasant and takes the time to answer any and all concerns. We can't wait to return next year with Akers Ellis.

I cannot say enough good things about my rental experience with Akers Ellis. Last summer we rented a comparable property in Wild Dunes and were so terribly disappointed in the condition of the (large and costly beach front) property. And essentially no attention was given us in an attempt to repair the many broken things (through an out of town rental company). Not so with Akers Ellis. The property was in excellent condition. The one very small garage door issue was repaired immediately. Their communication was excellent. They were friendly, local and wonderful. In fact we plan to rent the same property through them again next year. Their attention to detail is superb. Could not have been happier with the Akers Ellis team.

Our family of 10 had a wonderful week in this house. Their was plenty of room for everyone and the bedrooms were set out perfectly for our group. The kitchen is very nice and has everything you could ever need for cooking. The pool is nice and the porch is spectacular. It’s an easy walk to the beach but we had toddlers so wagons were a plus. The game room in the basement was a nice spot as well. We highly recommend this home

We were very happy with the house, and found it to be consistent with the overview and description. It was beautifully decorated, had a great kitchen, comfortable beds, a lovely pool, and was close to the beach. We would rent it again in a heartbeat.

Highly recommend this home. It’s beautifully decorated and has the most fully equipped kitchen that Ive experienced in a rental. The sunroom is a delight with the huge stone fireplace. The two 1st floor master suites have double doors that open to a patio. There are game tables in the basement and bikes too. Another plus to mention is the privacy - it’s located at the end of a long driveway. I hope to be back!

We have rented from Akers Ellis for many years, multiple times a year and we are rarely disappointed. This property was no exception. The property was located in a really great location in a less crowded part of Vanderhorst. We especially enjoyed the screened porch, and the deck and pool had gorgeous views and was quiet too. Great situation for bedrooms as well; 2 King suites on the 1st floor was perfect!

Our yearly family getaway was fabulous! This home is beautifully decorated and comfortable. I love all the angled ceilings! The woodsy surroundings were quiet and riding bikes everyday proved to be everyone’s favorite thing to do besides the endless hours in the pool. Perfect!

It could use a handyman to tweak a shower handle in the queen downstairs bath and the kitchen cabinets could use a little help. I’d suggest a really good cleaning, wear and tear from guests is hard on any property. Just some minor maintenance.

We had a great vacation at 20 Marsh Cottage. The house is very conveniently located, just a short walking distance to the beach. The rental process was easy and the house was spotless when we arrived. This property is nicely decorated and well equipped. Although the living areas are not huge, we had enough space for our family of nine. I hope to return sometime soon.

We cannot imagine a more idyllic Kiawah retreat than 20 Marsh Cottage Lane! We have been fortunate enough to stay here before and every time including this one has been magical. Everything about the house (from the magnificent pool and pool deck with picnic table and great lounge chairs to the heavenly screened porch with awesome swing to the bright, open, well-outfitted kitchen perfect for a crowd) lends itself to good times and great memories! Every detail has been thought through for comfort, beauty and fun. We simply cannot recommend this wonderful home more highly!

We stayed for two weeks and had one family down for a week, another for the following week and lots of family and friends on the middle weekend. The house could comortably accommodate us all with two masters and 3 other bedrooms with varying bed sizes that made it flexible for all types of friends and family. The kitchen is nice but small, well appointed with dishes and glassware but little to no cabinet space for food. Akers Ellis was there to welcome us, their app made check in a breeze, if we had any issues or concerns they answered them immediately-it was a great stay without hiccups! The pool off the kitchen was a favorite for the kids and parents because it was easy to keep an eye on them. House was conveniently located near the fire station and Governors/Flyway.

The home was nicely decorated and the kitchen was well equipped. The screened in patio is a great area of the home and we got great use of the pool in the backyard. The private pool is a nice size as compared to others on the island. We would not hesitate to come back to this home.

We loved this home. It was spacious with 5 delightful bedrooms. My kids were particularly stoked about the double bunk beds. The pool was indispensable, definitely opt in for the heated option. The kitchen was huge and perfect for cooking family meals. And I highly recommend picking up a log at the grocery for a fire in the screened porch. We will return.

Very good. The property was not as clean as I expected particularly on the outside. Trash from the storm. Had some issues with cockroaches in a couple of bedrooms.

Stall was helpful. Overall a very good experience.

We had a fabulous stay in Kiawah. The weather was perfect for golf, biking and the beach. We absolutely loved the house. It was perfectly suited for three families. It was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. If we visit Kiawah again we would definitely choose this home again.

This vacation rental was very lovely and quite spacious overall. It was wonderful for a relaxing beach/golf vacation. Beautifully furnished and very clean. It was perfect for couples on a vacation together. My favorite part of the home was the great deck and and screened porch with pool for group gathering. Kiawah has fantastic walking/biking trails, which was wonderful for those active vacationers like myself. Lots of great restaurants nearby at Freshfields Village and on Kiawah itself! Kiawah is close enough to Charleston for day trips, which we definitely took part in. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thank you for your hospitality!
