Wonderful house for a family vacation. Lots of room for everyone to be together.
One drawback was the unseated pool. In October it was too cold to use.
The little ones could just sit at the edge and get their feet wet. My next rental I would make sure if it had a pool it also have a way to heat it.

This is a beautiful house. Everything was as described. Was very grateful for the elevator for brother-in-law and bringing luggage and groceries in and out. Eugenia is a great location on the island IMO. There is a new home under construction across the street facing the ocean but the construction was not a bother. Sometimes getting out of the driveway was a little precarious with on street parking of construction vehicles but doable. Overall stay was wonderful. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

This is our second time in this home and our fifth time renting with Akers Ellis. The rental process is smooth and really could not be any easier. The home is beautiful but has aged since we were last there and could use some maintenance.The dishwasher was almost unusable and is on it's last legs.

Group of 10 longtime high school friends go to Kiawah for a long weekend every year. This was our first time renting from Akers Ellis and staying in this house. It was perfect. All the ladies loved it. The kitchen setup was easy for all of us to be in there together. The den and bedrooms was comfortable and roomy. Easy walk across the street to the beach. Akers Ellis addressed any concerns quickly. We have already told them we will be renting this house again next year!

When we first pulled up and entered the house we were blown away. Just a minute walk from the beach and accommodating a large number of people - it's a great place to stay for family reunion or similar event.

The house has everything you need and comes fully stoked with necessary appliances. There's a limited supply of Wine Glasses though, FYI.

The property management staff is very responsive. When inquiring about information, it took less than 24-hours (most of the time just minutes) to get a response.

Planned for a year for our 25th anniversary trip with family & friends to join us ...was so excited when the time came, unfortunately our trip was cut short due to Hurricane Dorian. (Thank goodness I took out insurance.. hopefully we will get some of our $$ back). Only able to stay 2.5 days of our 7 day vaca. Overall, 24b Eugenia had plenty of space for our party of ten, kitchen was well stocked & location was ideal being just across the street from beech access. IMHO home is in need of some freshing up (ie cracked paint on the outside of home, railings & front porch rocking chairs, cobwebs & wasp nests need a quick knock down around front) the pool, while refreshing from the humid heat, was an odd shade of light green vs the pretty blue in picture. The 3rd floor smoke alarm chirped for two nights starting at 3 am both nights even after spending $9 for a replacement battery after first night, made it hard to get any sleep for those folks in that room. The house, while impressive, for the rental price, I would have thought would have been in tip top shape. Love Kiawah, only wish we could have stayed all week.

We have stayed here before and have always appreciated the roominess and location. It appears the amenities have slipped a bit. The WiFi was inconsistent and needed to be rebooted regularly. We missed the big pots for our annual Charleston Boil. Still a high recommendation and we will be back.

Lovely home and very conveniently located! A few glitches were immediately resolved by the management. Vacation gear credit a plus; better if chairs set up daily. Deck has a few loose boards but seemed stable and not all rooms as clean as others. But would definitely recommend this house!

Beautiful house very close to the beach and a bike ride away from night heron park and the sanctuary. We always rent bikes for the week. Our day consists of

I have rented houses on Kiawah for the last 15 years for my women's tennis playing group, and 24B Eugenia was one of the best rentals. The kitchen had the best pots and pans, tons of plates and glasses and silverware, and even sharp knives, unusual for a rental. The house was immaculate when we arrived. Akers Ellis was very responsive to all of my questions. The house was directly across the street from a beach access. The only negative was the construction of houses going on next door and across the street - very loud during the day.

It was very nice. The family loved it. I particularly liked the elevator which worked good for my husband who has a hard time going up and down steps. Great house, may rent in 2017 if available. main cable box replaced not your fault but bar-b-q was defective previous week at least. Replaced during our stay. First pool guy did unacceptable work. Needed redo next day - ok. Let owner know 2nd floor LR tv out of focus for some reason. Baths, all rooms, all decor fantastic. Pots, utensils, dishes all A-1. While no one answered our calls to your office your response to problems was very good.

We love Kiawah!!! It's the highlight of the year for our family to come to Kiawah. This year, however, was even more perfect by staying at this property!!! Perfectly located, well constructed and decorated with a perfect layout for multiple generations. We had a wonderful time at Eugenia Avenue. The house was beautiful and very clean. Beach access was another plus. The porches were well used.We could not have asked for better weather. We went swimming in the ocean almost everyday. I called your office on Friday to let you know the Viking refrigerator had some problems. The drinks in the refrigerator never got really cold and the turning mechanism on the ice maker was broken before our arrival. Your office personnel could not have been nicer. She offered to have it serviced. That was not needed. I wanted you informed so repairs could be made on Saturday for your new tenants. This was a 60th birthday celebration for my husband and his Coast Guard Academy classmates. I am happy to report everyone loved this house

I am happy to tell you how much we liked the Eugenia house. Size wise the house was perfect for us. We loved the kitchen and what we came to call the "men's den" - the small den on the left that was great for those who wanted a little more peace and quiet at times. The two laundry rooms were a great asset. Overall, I think we would rate our overall satisfaction as a 4+.

Our extended family had a wonderful Thanksgiving week on Kiawah and we can't wait to come back! My immediate family comes to Kiawah several times a year and whenever we have rented from Akers Ellis we have had a good experience.

Our family has come to Kiawah every Thanksgiving for many years. Our stay at 24B Eugenia was wonderful. Being located just across from the beach made it possible to get my 82 year old mother out to the beach for the 1st time in years. The house is beautiful and was well stocked with paper products, towels, soaps and even some kitchen supplies (oatmeal, spices, olive oil, etc). The rooms were spacious and the bed arrangement was perfect for our growing family with people of all ages. We loved the house and would love to stay there again!

We loved the floor plan of the house-everyone had their own private space

24B Eugenia is a fantastic house with tons of amenities. The huge under-house garage is great and the elevator is a real plus. All of the spaces are large and there are multiple tv's including two big screen HD. Great house.

Great house, beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The beach access was very convenient, and the rental agency was very easy to work with. The only negatives were no access from the garage shower to the pool (without going through the house) and a relatively small pool. But, all in all, everyone loved it!

Great house coupled with attentive service. We had one minor issue with a door lock. Mr. Ellis rectified the situation immediately and followed up with a call to make sure that we were satisfied. We rented this lovely home for our first family reunion and it was perfect. We had 10 adults and 5 children and we had plenty of room. This house is splendidly located and perfectly designed for a large family gathering. A hop, skip and a jump from the beach. Easy bike ride to East Village, the Sanctuary and Parks. The salt water pool was a delightful treat and two laundry rooms were

Our second stay at 24B was great. Distance to beach is short. Pool is small but fun. House is a great floor plan for a large group. Our only suggestions would be more dinner chairs (sleeps more people than there are chairs at table) and put staircase from
beach shower in garage to pool so you do not have to go through house to get to pool when you return from the ocean. Akers, Ellis was GREAT to work with before and during visit.

The house is beautiful and has a great layout for multiple families. We had 14 people, but could've easily accommodated more. Proximity to the beach was an added convenience, especially with younger children. The pool was smaller than expected and needs to be maintained better; no skimmer available to remove debris. Property Manager replaced toaster immediately & cleaned Master bath that is in need of some repair/mold. All in all ....a great house and Kiawah is a wonderful vacation spot. We had a fabulous vacation staying at 24B Eugenia. The house is large, well decorated, well maintained and well stocked. There was enough space for everyone to spread out and do their own thing but also plenty of common areas for us hang out together. The kitchen is fabulous! It was the perfect home for our large, extended family. From the house it is a short walk to the beach or a bike ride to everything else on Kiawah. We've spent several spring breaks in Kiawah and this was by far the best ever!!! We'd highly recommend this home!

This wonderful home is well equipped for a family reunion or a large gathering of friends, which we were. I love to cook and the kitchen was arranged just as I would have set it up. There were plenty of glasses for every kind of beverage; and I loved cooking with the new Paula Dean Cookware. Dining areas were comfortable and plentiful. Although it was not the time of the year to get into the pool, it was pretty to look at. The bedrooms were spacious and wonderful with private bathrooms. To have the ocean just across the street for a morning or afternoon was a lovely extra bonus. It's in a good location for easy on and off th island to enjoy Freshfields and the Bohickett shops.
