Appreciated that all outdoor areas were cleaned and ready to use. Have found outdoor areas cobweb covered and moldy with other rental agencies. Owners allowed for use of some beach chairs, toys, and a cart, which would have been helpful to know so that we did not have to bring some of those items. Lovely home and setting. Cleanliness was great. Have used Akers Ellis last few visits, and you are now our go to for Kiawah stays. Thank you.

This is our second stay on this home in past 4 years. Loved the upgrades. The interior was most open and very accommodating with great flow. Loved the deck. Great respite from our adult children and grandchildren for coffee in the mornings. Good access to beach. Will go back.

My family loved the house! The screened porch was great and the kitchen was beautiful. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and watching the baby alligators in the lagoon. The location of the bedrooms gave everyone privacy. We would definitely recommend this property.

Well equipped house in a great location. Our family spent most of our time on the awesome porch, watching the wildlife in the pond. Downstairs is fully renovated and updated, upstairs is partially updated.

House is in great location on the island and has a very open floor plan on first floor. Great for big families. Also has very nice, large screen porch overlooking lagoon. Beach less than a five minute walk away.

We spent 2 weeks in this lovely home, and enjoyed their beautiful new kitchen and master bath. The open concept was perfect for our multi-generational family with 3 small children. We also loved the screened decks and the extra bonus TV room off the kitchen. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes, so even little legs could manage it. The home is very well appointed and Akers Ellis was excellent to work with.

My family (8 of us) had a wonderful time in this home. It was clean, well kept, updated and had plenty of space and amenities for all of us to enjoy! We were informed prior to our arrival that the dryer was malfunctioning. It was taken care of immediately without us having to lift a finger. All prior reviews mentioned close proximity to the beach and we agree! Quiet street with easy access to everything we enjoy in Kiawah. Highly recommend this home and Akers Ellis.

It was exactly what we were looking for. Large enough that we each had a bedroom, but with a huge TV and living room space so we could stretch out and watch the Master's Golf Tourney after our own round of 18 holes.
We had great service from Amanda and her team when we noted no dishwasher soap she had it delivered within an hour.
Kitchen had more than the usual amount of dishes, pots, pans and wine glasses. Short walk to beach as advertised. Quiet! We are planning to rent it again if possible for next year!

It was a 10!! We were so impressed with the home and all of it's amenities. It was beautifully decorated, supplied with more than we could imagine, perfectly situated, immaculate, comfortable I could go on and on. None of the 6 ladies in our group had ever been it Kiawah and now we know we will return. The lagoon was full of life, including a big ole Alligator, we nicknamed "Big Al". True, he is the reason we chose not to grill outside, so we opted for pizza instead and sat on the screened in porch and just enjoyed his company from afar. The beach was such a close stroll, none of us were expecting that! Kiawah is just perfect, the weather was perfect and the house was more than perfect.

Our vacation experience was truly a 5. We had a great vacation and would not hesitate to use Akers Ellis again. 404 Amaranth was a great property that we will rent again if possible. We have been coming to Kiawah for 20 years now, normally every other year, but as I near retirement we hope to visit more often and for longer stretches than a week. Renting for a month at a time through the winter will be our next endeavor if possible. We will be looking for a good deal to make that happen. Thanks for the follow up.

We had a wonderful experience! Your office was very prompt in dealing with our wifi complaint and had it fixed within 24 hours. Having a garage to store our bikes was such a bonus. We are looking forward to coming back next year and are hoping 404 Amaranth is available again.

The house at 404 Amaranth fit our family perfectly. It was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped and of course, the entire house was beautifully furnished. We have only 2 suggestions: The master ground floor shower needs a rubber mat as the tile got a little slick for us older folks.. Secondly, a sign needs to be posted in the back area to alert people to the alligator who was very curious when we were using the grill. Have to wonder if he had been fed by previous visitors at some point. It wasnt a big problem, but we certainly kept an eye on our little ones. Even though the area is spectacular, we sure wish you could do something about Kiawahs high humidity. :-)) We would rent from you again.

Our group of 10 had an amazing stay at 404 Amaranth Road. The house was perfect for our group size and matched the pictures exactly. The kitchen is well-equipped and we cooked most days. The common rooms are comfortable and great for relaxing after a day at the beach. The screen porch is a huge bonus and we even saw an alligator in the lagoon right from the screen porch. The beach is very close and there were some beach toys and boogie boards in the garage to use. The renting process was very easy as well. Overall, we had an awesome renting experience and hope to return sometime soon!

Great vacation and a perfect setup for our family of 7. One of the most important features was that we could "spread out" in the house and not be on top of each other. Just enough in every room...amazing master. Awesome. The ONE and only thing that wasn't 5-star was that the kitchen was small and was not well equipped with pitchers, storage containers, serving dishes, paring and carving knives, etc. (but then I like to cook). I LOVED, however, that I had 2 ovens. THANK YOU! Will come again!

We have been vacationing at Kiawah Island for 28 years. Your company has streamlined the arrival process. The lockbox on the rental unit,so we did not have to stop at an office, was appreciated. The extra two keys inside made it easy for our family to come and go as we all pleased especially when we went to different destinations. The towels were thick and fluffy and the sheets and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and all of the appliances worked well. All of the rooms were clean and functional. We had four generations represented and all of us loved this rental and how well it was set up. Thank you for quickly sending us the Kiawah gate passes and rental packet and answering our emails promptly. It was a pleasure doing business with your company. Thank you. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful our recnt stay at 404 Amamranth was. The propety was eay to find, very clean and spacious,very spacious which was good for my Mom who is wheelchair bound. There were planned activities for the children and they enjoyed the beach which was so close. The towels were some of the sofest I have ever used while vacationing and there was more than an abundance of them . The beds were comfortable and my brother throughly enjoyed napping on the couch. I would love to come back to this house again and plan to do so quite possibly for a spring break vacation or just for a relaxing week at the beach.

The house was perfect for our family of 9. Bedrooms were great and each family had their own privacy. The house was perfect in layout. Lots of room for everyone and lots of places to split up if desired. The children could be noisy in one room, while adults could talk in an other area or if necessary, find quiet space to complete job demands on laptop computers. We had 4 laptops and all worked well any place in the house.
Location to the beach was ideal. Five minute walk or 5 minute bike ride, whichever we chose. The bikes took time to lock up, so walking worked out better.
Would recommend to anyone. Entire family was very please. Kiawah Islane is a treasure, glad we chose to be there.Elizabeth Hill

Every year I have brought the families of two daughters from Gatlinburg TN and Columbia, SC to Kiawah for a week. The house's design is easy to live with and promoted privacy and 's proximity to the beach was a pleasent surprise. Unlike earlier rentals the house was clean and neat on arrival.We shall return.
