Every so often you visit a place and it feels so good and relaxing you think “I could live here”. That’s how I felt at Windswept. The covered patio, ease of access to the beach, privacy, cleanliness…. I could go on and on. I will definitely be back. The island slows you down and that’s exactly what I wanted. A+++

We really enjoyed this ocean front condo. It is nicely updated, comfortably outfitted, has a great kitchen and living area, and the second floor location allows easy egress to the beach as well as a perfect view across the dunes from the porch. If the elevator was slow we could just take a quick trip up or down one flight of stairs. (Note…there are a series of stairs that must be navigated to get to the building elevator/stairs, so if you have mobility issues you might take that into consideration.) Akers Ellis provided all the information we needed and made the rental process a breeze.

We found this Villa very updated, clean, with plenty of nice linens in the bedroom, bathrooms, and kitchen. There were plenty of utensils, supplies & cookware for the kitchen to make our meals which we did each night. There was sufficient dish detergent & laundry detergent as well as toilet paper. The Villa was updated with nice, new appliances throughout, granite countertops, a beautiful shower, gorgeous window shutters, smart televisions with soundbars, hardwood floors and a deck overlooking the beach. The credit with VayK allowed us a couple of beach chairs, bikes and cooler for extra fun and convenience. I have been vacationing at Kiawah for 36 years and this was one of the most beautiful places I’ve had the good fortune to visit on the island. I can’t think of one negative thing to say! We will be back!!

The Windswept unit 4420 was so nicely decorated and well appointed. Access to the beach was soo close! The covered porch was perfect for even rainy days. Everything was very clean. We will definitely be back one day soon. Thank you for being such an organized and reliable rental service!

We had a great time during our stay! The condo was just as described! Wonderful location with beautiful views. We watched dolphins swimming during the early morning sunrise, and enjoyed riding bikes on the beach in the afternoons. We would definitely stay here again and will be recommending to our friends and family!

Great property! Spectacular view ! Please tell the owner that need a cutting board , in order to preserved the granite , I was careful and I looked for one at the store and I could not find one at the supermarket . Other than that was a very nice experience , and we enjoyed very much

This is our third visit to Kiawah and renting a Windswept Villa from Akers Ellis. This was our favorite villa. Clean, well-appointed, beautiful view. The only complaint we had was that there were not enough towels or wash clothes and that required us to do laundry frequently (not something I relish doing on vacation). But that was a minor thing. We will definitely rent from Akers Ellis again on our next trip to Kiawah.

This condo is among the best we have rented over many years. It is in fantastic shape and decorated beautifully. The view of the ocean is just as pictured and a great place to relax over a drink or meal. It is a short walk on the boardwalk to the beach which is very nice. The location in East Beach is convenient to restaurants and golf courses.

We have visited Kiawah Island for over thirty years and this was our first experience having an ocean view. The sunrises and sunsets are beautiful and are easily viewed from the balcony. We were very pleased with the condo and will be back next year.

Books and games to occupy you if you forgot to bring your own. Large shower and nice linens with comfortable bed and pillows.

This Condo is on the beach with great views of the dunes and beach. The Condo is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the appliances were new. I highly recommend this unit. We had a great two weeks!

We had a wonderful week staying in this beautiful condo! The views from the balcony have to be among the best! This was a wonderful place to get away during this horrible pandemic year. It almost made you forget. The condo is impeccable with a well equipped kitchen to eat in. We had only a few problems that were addressed promptly. We definitely would return.

Great experience! This was our 6th visit to Kiawah, and we are never disappointed. The condo was perfect for two, with great views and easy access to the beach. We loved the covered balcony for meals. It also came in handy on the one morning it rained. We would stay here again.

My husband and I visited Kiawah Island in January and our stay at Windswept Villas exceeded our expectations. The condo was very clean, and had everything we needed, along with a beautiful view of the ocean. There is an elevator conveniently located just a few units away. The entire island had a peaceful feel, perfect for vacation. Freshfields Village shopping center has a grocery store, shops and restaurants, we didn't need to leave the island. The app provided with access information was helpful and worked like a charm. Casual breakfast places seemed hard to find, about 15 mins away is Sunrise Bistro, well worth the drive. We ate lunch twice at the Ryder Cup restaurant at The Ocean course, beautiful porch and view. We enjoyed dinner at FortyEight Wine Bar & Kitchen, small menu but great food and wine. Cantina 76 was okay, there is another Mexican restaurant called La Fogata at the Bohicket Marina that has a water view and ample outdoor seating. I thought the food was better at La Fogata. The only thing I would have found helpful at the condo is a few Tide pods to be able to run a load of laundry. I highly recommend this condo and Kiawah Island if you need relaxation.

We have visited Kiawah before and love it here. This villa is exquisite. The ocean views are stunning, the unit is well appointed, clean, impeccably decorated and has everything you could possibly need. Walk on the beach, play world class golf, eat at The Sanctuary’s restaurants or shop and cook in the beautiful kitchen. Bed was super comfortable and waking to that view is so uplifting! Will definitely be back! Akers Ellis does a phenomenal job representing property, great to work with.

Beautiful property, nicely furnished. Nice bathroom with large shower. Comfortable bed, great window seat in BR. Loved sitting on covered balcony and enjoying ocean views and breezes! Great experience overall with the condo. One issue with cleaning crew: we discovered visably dirty dishes had been stored in cabinets. Perhaps previous renters did not run dishwasher and cleaning crew put them away without noticing? Pretty gross. We had to wash everything before using.

Great location, nice unit, would have been nice for elevator privileges when bringing luggage in and out, the stairs and gravity were fun to deal with! A/C wasn't working properly, but not an issue (not that warm out) and a guy came to work on promptly on our last full day. Not sure if it got fixed, but needed heat after that.

The condo was spotless, well-appointed, comfortable, and had an outstanding view. It was convenient to everything. We loved watching the sunrise on the beach each morning and the lovely island deer that roamed the bike paths and beach. It was quiet and relaxing. It was the perfect place for the perfect getaway!

We spent the Christmas week in this beautiful condo. It was perfect for us in every way. The beach is just in front of you. We ate in for almost every meal because the kitchen was well-stocked with high-end appliances. Everything was comfortable and very clean. Plenty of storage and everything was well stocked. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our only disappointment was that there was no DVD player, as we brought movies to watch. We didn't use the washer/dryer. Parking is convenient and access to the beach is easy for walking and for bikes. We never left the island during our visit, as we stayed plenty busy taking walks, riding bikes, watching sunsets and relaxing on the oceanfront balcony. I would absolutely stay in this condo again. It is perfect for a couple wanting a truly stress-free vacation.
