4431 Windswept Villa

Fabulous ocean view with nice balcony. Beautifully renovated. Easy two flights of stair, walk up or take elevator. great appliances, the condo was lacking for nothing! I would note it has streaming TV with Samsung TV, no cable.

Much Needed and (hopefully) post Covid vacation with family who flew down from the northeast and were BLOWN AWAY with the entire week long stay. Customer service, beach, and accommodation's were 1st class and will be back next year for an additional week. Akers Ellis is the cream of the crop!!!!

We have been to Kiawah 10+ times. When we walked into our condo on the first day there was an issue that threatened our entire stay. We quickly called the Akers office and they jumped into action to resolve our issue. By 7pm Akers and the property managers had everything under control. Akers was awesome to work with us the rest of the trip and followed through on everything that they promised. We have used Akers 3-4 times and we will call them first whenever we need a condo. This was our 2nd time staying at this condo. The view from the balcony is outstanding and the location is great.

I do not have a good review of the general condition of this property. We did see two cockroaches in the kitchen area and we found a live scorpion on the bathroom floor one morning. When we arrived we found dirty dishes in the cabinet s and dirty utensils in the drawer. The first thing we did on our vacation was washing the dishes we figured we’d probably need to use.

Overall it’s hard to have anything other than a great vacation on Kiawah Island but I’ll be looking for a different condo to stay in next spring.

Great location and layout - easy booking through Akers. We will definitely do business with Akers to book our next KI trip. However we likely won’t stay in this unit. It was a little dated. If I was being nice I’d call it a “ordinary beach condo .” Dated appliances and furniture. Dated bathroom. Shower curtains need to be replaced. The kind of place that’s no frills and more utilitarian. You have what you need with a good amount of space, but it just seemed beat up. We made the best of our time however.

Unit had wonderful views of the beach. Kitchen was well equipped. The only issue we had was that unit could use some updating. Loved having the $250 beach credit so we didn’t have to bring chairs, etc.

It was the best vacation I’ve ever been on. Kiawah Island is beautiful. The weather was perfect. The beach is outstanding, gentle waves, clean, not crowded. The food on the island is top notch too

The condo was fine for us. The location and view from the balcony is exceptional. The inside of the condo could use a paint job but that’s about the only negative thing I could see. The king bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable.

Overall it was a fantastic week on the island and I truly did not want to leave. Can’t wait to go back next year! Akers was so easy to work with, from the booking to check in / check out. I’ll definitely book with them again.

We enjoyed our stay very much, and found the condo matched up to its description. It was comfortable, spacious and looked out onto the splendid beach which was easy to access by a raised walkway. The company dealt quickly and efficiently with a non-working venetian blind, needed for privacy, and with our difficulties with the tv. A good experience!

The location and view were both absolutely spectacular and deserve 5 stars. The property could use a little TLC as it wasn't as clean as one would hope. The "fully furnished kitchen" definitely left a bit to be desired, along with the comfort of the furniture. While on vacation we actually enjoy making our own meals and though we could "make do" with what was there, it certainly didn't appear it was equipped to encourage such. Also, the listing states that it sleeps up to 6. We only had 4 people but had just barely enough linens in the bathroom to get through one cycle of showering without having to immediately do laundry (certainly couldn't have done that with 6 people). Though we could even live with that, the washer and dryer both have seen better days, particularly the dryer. It would get incredibly hot on the top yet take hours and multiple cycles to actually dry anything in it which made it frustrating to have to do laundry every time we showered. We were only there for a few days so I didn't bother wasting any of our precious time contacting the management about any of these issues as it was much easier to just enjoy the amazing weather we had so I'm not sure how well anything would have been addressed if I had. But once again, the location and the view really were spectacular and made the trip incredibly enjoyable despite the other less than stellar aspects.

Thank you for following up with us.  We enjoyed our stay.  The location and view were great.  I wanted to let you know, though, that the guest toilet has difficulty flushing.  Also, when watching a DVD the sound on the TV is very low.  We had to turn the volume up to 100 and still had to use closed captioning too.   We would love to return to this area again.

Overall a good time, the elevator went out and we had to walk up and down stairs several times a day, 3 flights with luggage, the location was great, the weather not so great, but out of our control. showers had god spray and plenty of hot water, kitchen was acceptable.

While overall the location and experience was pleasant and enjoyable, the condo needs some updating. Some items are just exhausted like the living room carpet. Also, one should mention that for a four person condo the balcony is hardly big enough for two. This can't be fixed since the whole condo complex is designed this way.
Otherwise, the view is beautiful.

I loved my vacation experience with Akers! I especially liked the ease of checking in and out. It was so much better than standing in line at a office! It was also nice to have the car permit before we arrived so we could go straight to our villa. I was extremely satisfied!

Absolutely a 5. We have stayed in nicer units on Kiawah, but were looking for low cost this year. This met our needs, plus had the great views from the deck and proximity to the beach that we love. The AC unit went out while we were in Charleston on Wednesday afternoon, but our calls were promptly returned and it was fixed by Thursday afternoon. We will be back!
