We loved our stay here! The saddest part is that it was too short. This is a beautiful unit, great location with amazing views, so quiet. And I could watch sunrise from the primary bedroom! Will definitely come back!

Amazing property, gorgeous views, perfect location and so easy to access! We thought we might encounter some issues, as this was our first time not renting through the resort. As it turned out, the condo entry was easier and the amenities provided were even more plentiful and accessible. I would highly recommend staying with Akers to anyone traveling to Kiawah in the future!

Beautiful property with amazing views! We had one issue with the water heater during our stay. I called the phone number provided for Akers and Lauren was very helpful and promised someone would be by to check on it. Within 20 minutes one of their maintenance team members was there to help. They arranged for a service company to fix the water heater the next day. Great service all around! Will stay with Akers Ellis properties again!

As the title suggests, the property was very nice and just as advertised. The top floor unit was ideal for us. In addition, this complex sits pretty much mid-island and it was easy to ride bikes anywhere from here. We would stay here again!!

We come to Kiawah at least once a year and previously rented through VRBO. This became more difficult because Vacasa took over many of the villas. Vacasa was absolutely horrible and we looked for another company. I have to say that Akers Ellis was fabulous. They were always available and extremely easy to contact for any communication. Soooooo, despite this villa needing some update and thorough cleaning, we would definitely rent it again because Akers Ellis was so easy.

Nice place has all the amenities you could think of. There is definite wear and tear that needs to be addressed such as the window sill upon entry of the main door, and the kitchen cabinets need a little TLC. The place is decorated beautifully and felt very cozy.

Overall, a good stay. The unit is spacious, has most things needed for a long stay, and the view is excellent. Proximity to the beach is great, especially for parents with young children.

The unit could have been cleaner on our arrival. Akers was helpful in delivering a new vacuum upon request and willing to fix/clean as necessary.

The unit was exactly as pictured. It was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. We’ve stayed on the island for several years now and will keep coming back.
Having a credit toward the beach gear and bikes was fabulous. We pedaled our legs off almost every day!
Our only complaints were the master bedroom mattress was terrible. The balcony was lovely but it needs a high top table to go along with the chairs.
If the bed was replaced we would book this unit again. The mattress in the front bedroom was better but we didn’t want to stay in that room.

This was our second time staying at the 4436 Windswept Villa. We love it. It has the most amazing view. You are able to watch the shrimp boats with the dolphin following them, the deer in the dunes, and pelicans flying by. It was very clean and well stocked. The location is very close to everything! We will definitely be staying here again!

The location of the condo is awesome! It is centrally located on the island and it has the most wonderful view of the ocean and dunes. You can sit on the balcony and watch the deer in the dunes, the shrimp boats, and dolphins playing in the water. The condo itself was clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment. It was really nice to have the bikes, chairs, and umbrella already delivered when we arrived. We will definitely be staying here again.

Overall good experience. Few small inconveniences (lack of outlets in second bedroom so difficult getting into the bed in the dark), few dirty dishes that were put into cabinets, door handle that was very hard to open, furniture looking a little tired). Beautiful oceanfront view.

Excellent stay...like that the unit has been updated since we last stayed here a couple years back.

Could leave a vacuum cleaner in unit so you could sweep carpet at least once.
Otherwise the unit was clean and well maintained.

This was our first time to visit Kiawah after years of going to Hilton Head . We fell in love with the island. Our villa was oceanfront as promised...they aren't always. It was bright, clean and beautiful. The rental agency made check in a breeze and was very approachable via an easy to use app. As hurricane Matthew approached we received frequent updates from them. We did have to leave early and in a rush, but we enjoyed every minute we were there.

We enjoyed our stay very much. My only complaint is that the property (floors/rugs) were not clean. There was leftover pizza on the rug under the table and sand and hair throughout the condo. It was if the condo had not been swept/vacuumed. The bathrooms and kitchens were clean and the kitchen is well stocked. It was nice to have a few toiletries and paper products provided. Also, arriving to music playing was a very nice touch.

We were very pleased with our rental experience & rate it a 5 for the following reasons: 1. Ease of booking & proactive customer service (ex., the mobile app with the door code).
2. Responsiveness of the staff to our email inquiries regarding bike rentals, etc.
3. Cleanliness of the unit (the music playing on our arrival was a very nice touch).
4. Binder with door keys which was prominently displayed & included most of the information needed (the TV/DVD player instructions were great).
5. Ample supply of dishwasher/dishwashing detergent & laundry detergent, as well as paper products & trash bags.
There were two minor items I would like to mention. First, on our arrival, the kitchen trash had not been taken out. However, we understand that housekeeping has many units to clean, things can fall between the cracks & were all human! Second, there was a lot of noise from the adjoining unit which sounded like chairs being scrapped on the floor. It occurred every day until the last night of our stay & occurred so often that we honestly wondered if there were small children running toys across the floors. The noise would continue past our bedtime which was typically around 10:00/10:30. So, we closed the bedroom door each night which helped some. Again, thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback on our stay. We are already planning a return trip for May 2016!

Pros: Awesome view, beautiful condo with comfy beds. BUT: 50 plus stairs to climb because elevator not working. Management team addressed issue with me appropriately. Honestly-until elevator functioning these rentals should be removed from market unless full disclosure of 4 plus flight stair climb to your unit revealed.
