We have been renting with Akers Ellis for a couple of years & they have always been very easy to work with. This was my first time not being ocean front & I loved it! This location is much more relaxing & the view of the pond is beautiful. You do get to see lots of fun wildlife! The house is very clean & well stocked. This house is also on the west side of the island so if you ever need to leave it’s not far to shops & restaurants.

Located on a lagoon where we had an alligator with babies sunning just outside our back door. Not as close to the beach as we’d hoped but still just a short bike ride away. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable screened porch to eat outside. Living room was nicely furnished. Beach gear was available to use during your stay. It’s probably time for the mattresses and linens to be replaced and it wasn’t spotlessly clean like units we’ve rented before but a good value and nice stay overall. A solid 4.5 stars.

We arrived to a simplistic check in process with a lock box code and entered into a clean, cool villa with soft music playing from the television. The views from the back porch were breathtaking - lush vegetation and abundant wildlife! We spent every morning and evening on the deck watching the birds, squirrels, deer, and alligators. Our days were spent at the beautiful beaches of Kiawah just a short bike ride away! We rented bicycles and a bike cart, which was super handy getting our gear to the beach - I highly recommend! My family is used to oceanfront so we were skeptical, but loved our experience even more! Biking to the beach added adventure, and having our own backyard (that’s what it felt like) was great! We weren’t inside but to eat, sleep, and shower; kitchen was FULL of everything you needed, big fridge with a great ice maker, dishwasher pods, detergent, coffee filters (no coffee though), even sandwich baggies! Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets and water pressure was good in the shower. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Akers Ellis in Parkside Villa 4583. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything was very nice. Kiawah is an amazing place to explore. We utilized the equipment credit and got two bikes, baskets, and a buggy. It made getting gear down to the beach a breeze.

We had wonderful stay with our two kids (3,5). The house is within 5 minutes biking distance to the beach and about 10-15 minute walk. The kitchen has plenty of cookware but no real pantry items, which is fine we brought a lot of our own food supplies. The only thing is that we didn't bring is coffee filters, the rental does supply coffee which is nice. We went to the grocery store in the village for items we needed. The condo is neatly kept with clean bedding and comfortable. I would recommend this property to any friend or relative with kids or without. We enjoyed going crabbing for blue crab at the bridge, ghost crab hunting at night, and swimming/biking at the beach. It was overall a very nice stay and we would do it again! We also enjoyed driving to Charleston for the day (its about a 35-45 minute drive)/

Overall my family enjoyed staying at this villa on Kiawah. The condo unit had more than I imagined (I wished I knew before packing my car ��) . I enjoyed the beach, sitting out on the deck in the am and the bike rentals are right next door at the sanctuary. I would recommend getting a carry tandem for bike or the rental company providing a location where you can park your car at the beach as it would be a hike to carry all of your stuff there unless you just had a beach bag. Overall I would recommend ����

We stayed in this villa for my husbands 60 year Birthday vacation. It was important to me that the villa be comfortable and fun. This villa did not disappoint! The villa was the best ever! It had a king size bed with an awesome mattress, a very well stocked kitchen with many sizes of pans, utensils and serving ware. The furniture was comfortable and in excellent condition. It was clean and cozy. We enjoyed watching the birds and alligators when we had our morning coffee. I would stay here again if we return to Kiawah Island. Highly recommend!

It was another great week in Kiawah. The place was great it was a joy to stay there. there are only two things we would have changed with the place, but more a preference than a complaint. One ceiling fans in the bed room( we don't really like air conditioning) there was only one night when the air was not perfect blowing thru the house. Two the pillows in the master where not real conferrable. As I said this was more a preference. The house was great I would recommend it to anyone. Clean and a well stocked kitchen. There was nothing we needed.

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at this property. The Villa was very clean, and spacious. The view was all that I hoped for. Bicycle rentals in walking distance as well as other amenities. Our stay was great. Would come again and highly recommend.

Location was perfect. When they say only a 10 minute walk to the beach you can believe it! Condo was clean, comfortable and stocked with all you need. Beach was beautiful last week in July. Water was warm and clear of any seaweed or jellyfish. Shops and stores were ample for a one week stay coupled with being only 40 minutes from Historic Charleston. Had a fabulous time!

When you think about going on vacation with your kids, you want relaxing. This is rarely the ACTUAL case when traveling with children, but this place is an exception! We had a lovely calm and peaceful vacation. We rode bikes, went to the beach, ate outside on the patio, cooked dinners together and had the very best time.

We had a few packages delivered prior to arriving and the property manager brought them over for us so they'd be waiting when we arrived. What wonderful service!

We will be back!

This one had a great location, lagoon in backyard. We saw wildlife, White Egrets, Alligator, Fawn and skimmer birds. Loved the screended deck & unscreened deck. Appliances were great. TV & internet were good. First floor unit was easy to get to. Very clean & neat when we got there. There was one small problem- the exhaust fan in the small bathroom did not work well. Make a bad noise when you turned it on.

I would rate the villa and the Akers experience a 5! The villa was clean well equipped and organized - the mobileapp is a huge plus for getting the code and you sending the passes for gate beforehand! It was wonderful! There is nothing I would change! This was our first time to rent through Akers Ellis and I can definitely give you a rating of 5! Your customer service was great, the villa was exactly as shown in the photos, and very clean when we arrived. We also appreciated the amount of towels, paper towels, trash bags, etc. that were provided. The app is very user friendly and made for easy check in and check out.

We had a WONDERFUL time in Kiawah. The villa was nice and up to date and very comfortable for the 4 of us. We loved the location and being so close to the beach. We rented bicycles and rode to the beach and on the great bike paths.

We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our stay. The weather was wonderful and the villa was perfect. We will definitely be back and hopefully stay at the same villa.
