We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was well equipped with kitchen items. The room overlooking the lagoon was my favorite place to sit during our week stay. We had 4 teenagers with us too. They enjoyed the bike rentals and how close of a bike ride the beach is from property. The golf courses were amazing. One of our daughters did the tennis academy and enjoyed it. We did drive off the Island a few times to eat out as the places there are really pricey, yet delicious! The refrigerator did freeze our lettuce and some veggies so we turned the temp down and contacted property manager. We would LOVE to come back here. Highly recommended staying at this condo !

Genuinely believe this was the best option I could have found! Immediately I was impressed how easy check-in was, the place was gorgeous inside and the view had to be the best around this pond. Loved sitting on the porch and walking down to the dock for sunset, endless entertainment watching the wildlife right out the window. So close to the beach, biking around the trails was a blast. I hesitate to write about this place in the glowing terms it deserves because well, I want it all for myself. Lol. But short of moving into this beautiful unit, I strongly recommend it. We had a wonderful week staying in this beautiful condo! It was very tastefully decorated w/ a well stocked kitchen. The screened porch furniture was very comfortable and we enjoyed spending a lot of time there watching the wildlife in the lagoon. The condo is in a great location and is just a 5 minute bicycle ride to the beach. It’s also a 5 minute bicycle ride to the tennis courts and the East Beach Market. Beautiful villa with lovely lagoon Bewes. When we arrived the unit had been impeccably cleaned, the kitchen as well equipped with everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable, we enjoyed sitting outside on the screened in porch enjoying the local wildlife. Kiawah Island has world-class golf, restaurants and the beach is beautiful and easily accessible. Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful villa with lovely lagoon views! Upon arrival villa had been impeccably cleaned. We moved in and enjoyed three fabulous weeks on Kiawah! The kitchen has everything we needed for cooking, beds are really comfortable and the screened in porch is the best for watching wildlife. We walked to Tomasso’s for dinner several times and had drinks on the back porch at The Sanctuary at sunset... truly spectacular! Dinner at Jasmine Porch was excellent as well. Golf on Kiawah is world class, we have been coming here to play since the early 90’s. A day walking The Ocean Course finished off by dinner at The Ryder Cup Bar is a very special and unique experience. We also played Turtle Point several times and the back nine is also truly memorable. Off island eateries that are very good include Hege’s, La Tela and Fuji... The Salty Dog is a casual fun spot for outdoor dining and has live music some weekends. Overall it was an exceptional few weeks, mostly good weather and very quiet this tome of year. Akers Ellis always goes above and beyond for their clients, definitely recommend using them!

We originally had rented a different unit in the same complex on Kiawah Island. Akers Ellis notified us before our arrival that there would be unexpected exterior work at that unit during our planned stay. They generously offered to switch us to another unit, which we accepted. The unit we stayed in was tastefully decorated, comfortable, and immaculate. The location was a short walk to two beach access points. The living room and screened porch have a beautiful view of a large lagoon, complete with resident alligators. We enjoyed the property very much, and all of our dealings with Akers Ellis were outstanding.

This rental was excellent - very clean, very comfortable, and view of the lagoon was outstanding. We saw several alligators and even some tame deer frequently while there - so exciting and enjoyable. It had everything we needed, nicely decorated, beds were very comfortable, and easy parking. The bike rental credit was simple to use and the drop-off/pickup was easy. We had no issues whatsoever and truly enjoyed our time on Kiawah. This specific rental was a great value compared to others that charged way more for the same offering. The owners are relatively new and should be proud of the good impression this left with us. Loved it!

Nice condo in a good location on the island. Kitchen is well-outfitted. Beds are comfortable. Having a washer-dryer inside the unit is very handy. Five minute bike ride to the beach. The lagoon view is relaxing. Other condos can be seen, but the way the buildings are situated and the landscaping makes it feel very secluded. Would stay here again. Four unit building, this unit is upstairs. Parking is very convenient, directly in front of the building - and the layout feels residential.

We were very impressed with our vacation rental property, which made the fact that we had to evacuate due to Hurricane Florence all the more disappointing. It was beautiful and comfortable. We do wish that we had been a bit closer to the ocean, and will keep that factor in mind for future plans. The only critique we have concerns the lack of a map to get to the beach; I had to call the rental office and ask for directions. That's a small quibble compared to the overall excellence of our experience...Hurricane Flo notwithstanding.

The mandatory evacuation, and everything related to it, was handled most professionally by the office staff.

We look forward to returning, and thank you very much for your care and consideration while we were on the island.

This was our 4th visit to Kiawah and we've stayed different places each time-twice in west beach and twice here at east beach. This particular condo was hands down THE BEST LOCATION--best views of the cove, easy walk to two different beach accesses. The condo was very clean, no bugs and pleasant. It isn't the most updated or well-appointed, but we still felt like we got a bargain! The furniture on the porch was very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to improve the inside lighting to better accommodate reading. Thank you for another wonderful stay!!! We were somewhat distressed by all the development in the area and the multifloor condos going in.....hoping our SC gem doesn't go the way of Destin Fla and get too crowded :(

Enjoyed the lagoon view, we were able to see alligators from the screened porch. Villa was in good shape overal, a little wear and tear which is to be expected. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. Beach was only a 2 minute bike ride away. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Great Labor Day weekend in spite of Hermine. So nice we got to check in early and get settled before the storm hit. Our villa was great 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The view off the screened porch was wonderful!! We liked the arrangements of the bedrooms and baths in the condo. The kitchen was adequately equipped with the necessary items that we needed but we did not do any cooking of meals at the condo. (Eating out for the week was a nice vacation from the kitchen). Four women came to Kiawah Island to run the half marathon 2013. We were so pleased with 4828 Turtle Cove Villa. It was very clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the view of the lagoon was very peaceful. We even stayed an extra day to truly enjoy relaxing on the screened porch. The porch furniture was just like home- room to lie down and read, room to sit and talk as we looked at the peaceful water, and room to share a very special celebratory breakfast AFTER running the race. The manager of the villa and his family are amazing... Very professional, and fast. All we needed was a bath drain fixed, and it was taken care immediately. We already have reservations for next year!

After staying at this location I was surprised to see no reviews. The location, beauty, cleanliness and amenities were second to none. We arrived early evening, walked up to the second level (stairs only) and upon opening the door we were greeted by soft music along with gentle lighting in the living area. This was a nice touch after a long trip. The "starter supplies" were more than enough for a week stay and would probably get you through two or more weeks easily. Loved having a washer/dryer in the unit. The kitchen was stocked with cooking supplies such as pots, pans, dishes, blender, toaster and microwave. The TV in the living area has cable, plus a blueray player. Wireless internet is available with easy directions to follow.

Akers Ellis is topnotch in their professionalism from their contract to their housekeeping staff. We were very pleased with this rental selection. The photos are spot on in appearance yet do not show the true beauty you experience once you are on site. And unfortunately we did not experience seeing an alligator, but we did see lots of other wildlife! This was a very relaxing location.
