Lauren Dion

Lauren Dion was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana and grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, and earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina and Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law. After graduating law school and practicing family and criminal law, Lauren earned her real estate license in 2014. Equipped with valuable experience in Kiawah Island real estate sales as well as regime management on the island, Lauren joined the Akers Ellis real estate team in 2018.

Lauren was named a 2021, 2022, and 2023 Realtor® of Distinction for being in the top 1% of producing Charleston Realtors®. Lauren has been recognized in Top Agent Magazine, featured on the cover of Charleston Real Producers magazine, and named one of Charleston Real Producer's 40 under 40. For 2021, 2022, and 2023 sales production, Lauren is also ranked as one of the top 50 agents in the entire tri-county MLS [over 8,200 agents]. She has sold over $150,000,000 and done over 160 transactions and counting in her career with Akers Ellis, giving her the experience to guide her clients through any of their real estate needs.

Lauren works side by side with her husband, Chris, and they have branded themselves as the "Selling Kiawah Team". They own a rental house on Kiawah Island, reside on Johns Island, and live with their daughter, two sons, and Golden Retriever, Fenway. A black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Lauren treasures family time and enjoys traveling, taking Pure Barre, watching college football and baseball [Geaux Tigers!], and playing softball. She volunteers her time with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and represented the organization as the 2019 Woman of the Year, raising over $56,000 in ten weeks!
