The 35th Annual Reindeer Run/Walk brings holiday spirit to the heart of downtown Charleston on Saturday, December 12, 2026. This festive 5K run/walk begins at 8:00 AM on Meeting Street and welcomes runners, walkers, families, and pets for one of Charleston’s most beloved seasonal traditions.

Participants can enjoy a cheerful morning in the Holy City with holiday costumes, community fun, and a lively downtown race atmosphere. Whether you are running for time, walking with friends, or bringing the whole family along, the Reindeer Run/Walk is a fun way to celebrate the Christmas season in Charleston.

Race day begins near 141 Meeting Street, with limited packet pickup available the morning of the event from 7:00 to 7:45 AM. Participants are strongly encouraged to pick up packets on Friday when possible. Awards and the costume contest are scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM.
