Celebrate Thanksgiving morning on Kiawah Island with the annual Turkey Trot at Sanctuary Beach Access. This beloved holiday event invites families, beginners, and experienced runners to take part in a one-mile walk/run or a 5K beach walk/run along one of the island’s most scenic stretches of shoreline.

Music begins at 10 AM, with the race starting at 10:30 AM. After the run, participants can scan the event QR code to enter the Thanksgiving Pie raffle, with the drawing held at 11:15 AM.

The Kiawah Island Turkey Trot is complimentary, and no reservations are required. Whether you are spending the holiday on the island or planning a Thanksgiving getaway, this casual beachside tradition is a festive way to begin the day before gathering with family and friends.
