Description

Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This Kiawah Island vacation rental features four bedrooms, a private pool, and gorgeous views of Turtle Point Golf Course. The home is about a 10-minute walk to the beach.

The living area offers high ceilings, plenty of seating, a wall-mounted TV, and access to the screened porch. The updated kitchen features plenty of counter space, a breakfast bar with seating for three, and everything you will need to prepare your vacation meals. Guests can enjoy their vacation meals in the eat-in kitchen, which has seating for six, and in the adjacent dining area, which has seating for up to eight guests. Both areas overlook the beautiful pool and golf course.

Two of the four bedrooms are located on the main level. The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an attached bathroom (can also be accessed from the hallway) with a shower/tub combo. The second downstairs bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, loveseat, desk with an office chair, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. On the second level, you will find the third bedroom, which has two queen-sized beds and an attached bathroom with shower/tub combo. The master bedroom, located on the third floor, features a king-sized bed, private balcony overlooking the golf course, desk with chair, and a private bathroom with a double-sink vanity, jetted tub, and walk-in shower.

Enjoy expansive views of Turtle Point Golf Course from the generous pool deck. The back deck includes a 12’ x 20’ pool, plenty of lounge seating, and a dining table surrounded by chairs. The home also offers a screened porch with comfortable seating and a ceiling fan to keep cool.

Please note that this property has security cameras which view the exterior of the home, including the entrance, back deck, and pool area. These cameras serve to protect both the property owner and rental guests.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. Guests do not have access to the garage.

This pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $75/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $400. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

Rates may change prior to booking and do not include fees and taxes.
Stays of 3 nights or less will be charged an additional fee for housekeeping.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

Let me start by saying Akers Ellis is wonderful to work with. We have rented many homes thru them and have had them manage our own property. Gerald and the owner are great and this review is no reflection on them. The best part of this home is the location on the island and the pool and the new back deck. This home is new to the rental market and needs to be updated inside to match the outside pool area. The master bathroom/bedroom looks as if it has not been touched since the home was built in 1984as well as some of the other bathrooms. The kitchen needs updating as well and the living room is in desperate need of some new furniture. The carpet downstairs needs to be cleaned to remove stains or replaced. The owner has cameras all around the property and you feel like you are constantly being watched. Akers Ellis is aware of this and is taking care of it. It does not make you feel comfortable hanging out and swimming in your bathing suit as you are being monitored by a camera. Also, the camera has a motion detector on it that constantly goes off and lights up the back at all hours of the night that shines in the master bedroom windows. I am quite confident that Akers Ellis will take care of these issues. The kitchen also needs to have the drawers organized and better stocked. The refrigerator and dishwasher are new, however, where the refrigerator is located you can hardly open the left side door. Akers Ellis had the property cleaned, I gave the rating of the general condition a 2 star not because of them but because of the living room furniture, the carpet stains, and the overall master bathroom and other bathrooms in the home.
