A California native, Kim built a lengthy and distinguished career in the mortgage and financial services industry, holding executive roles at GMAC/ALLY Financial and Caten McGuire before retiring.

Since 2014, Kim and her husband, Paul, have called Kiawah Island home. They have four sons, five grandsons, and two beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Kim enjoys cycling, reading, and, most of all, spending time with her growing family.

Deeply committed to the community she calls home, Kim serves as Board Chair of the Conservancy of the Sea Islands and is a former board member of Sea Island Habitat for Humanity. She is also active in P.E.O. International and volunteers with the Town of Kiawah Island Bluebird Project and the Kiawah Island Sea Turtle Patrol.

In 2024, Kim brought her extensive professional experience, strong relationships, and deep appreciation for the Sea Islands to real estate, joining the Akers Ellis Real Estate team in 2024. Her knowledge of the community, combined with decades of experience working with people through important financial decisions, gives her a thoughtful and personal approach to helping clients navigate their own real estate journeys.
