Kiawah Island has been voted as one of the Top 15 Islands in the Continental U.S. by Travel + Leisure. Landing the number #2 spot this year and #5 in 2020, Kiawah Island is no stranger to the publication's 'World's Best Awards.'
According to Travel + Leisure, destinations were ranked based on "activities and sights, natural attractions and beaches, food, friendliness, and overall value." With abundant natural beauty, 10 miles of pristine beach, and a bustling culinary scene, it's no wonder Kiawah Island made this prestigious list once again. Voting closed on May 10, 2021, and polled Travel + Leisure readers around the globe.
