Another holiday season has almost come and gone. We are looking forward to ringing in 2015 with plenty of exciting options on Kiawah Island and around Charleston! No matter what scene you are wanting, the Lowcountry has an option that will fit the bill! Here are a few of our favorites:

A Family Event in Night Heron Park

Ring in 2015 with friends and family, featuring live entertainment by Permanent Vacation and fireworks at Night Heron Park. Full a la carte dinner menu including Kiawah’s favorites, such as roasted oysters, barbecued chicken and ribs, collard greens and delicious desserts. Food will be served until 9:30PM. Other activities include train rides, jump castles and party favors for all!

The fireworks finale begins at 10PM from the Night Heron Park Soccer Field. The evening is full of entertainment suitable for families and groups of all ages. No coolers or outside food and beverages allowed. Children and teen night parties also available.

Union Provisions New Year’s Celebration

Swing into 2015 at Union Provisions’ 1st Annual New Year’s Eve celebration. The event features specialty menu items, cocktails and brews, live music by the Rivercity Dixieland Band and a special midnight toast from a Nebuchadnezzar of Veuve Clicquot. No cover charge.

An Alcohol-Free Evening in Marion Square

Marion Square, conveniently located in the heart of downtown Charleston, will be the site for the Post and Courier’s New Year’s Eve event. This family friendly, non-alcoholic party will feature live entertainment, art shows, refreshments and more. The festivities run from 4:00PM to 10:30PM.

Walk the Night Away

If you’d rather have a quiet New Year’s Eve, you don’t have to spend a fortune to enjoy the Charleston scene. When it comes to a place that is both romantic and aesthetically pleasing, just spend some time wandering around and taking in the night life. It will probably be much more exciting than most of the activities taking place indoors!
