Imagine our surprise when we checked out the latest Conde Nast Traveler polls to discover not one, but TWO worldwide surveys recognizing the Lowcountry!
Kiawah Island is a serene escape for the Lowcountry. We know its beauty and love all it has to offer. And Conde Nast Traveler naming Kiawah Island the #2 island in the world only adds another feather to our cap! They claimed "Though it's only a short trip from downtown Charleston, this small barrier island on the Atlantic coast can feel like it's a world away."
And, to top it all off, Charleston has also been named the #2 city in the world. Their tip was "Take time to wander the side streets, which boast beautiful homes, the best of which are found at Rainbow Row just by The Battery."
