Annual Patriotic Bike Parade
East Beach Village, Kiawah Island

Celebrate the Fourth of July on Kiawah Island at the Annual Patriotic Bike Parade, a family-friendly tradition hosted by the Kiawah Island Recreation Department. Patriots of all ages are invited to join the fun on bikes, skates, roller blades, or by foot as the parade makes its way down Sea Forest Drive from East Beach Village to Night Heron Park.
The parade will be led by the Kiawah Island Recreation Department, followed by festive appearances from Uncle Sam, Lady Liberty, and Captain America. Participants are encouraged to dress in red, white, and blue and decorate their bikes for the occasion.
The parade begins promptly at 5:45 PM and ends at Night Heron Park, where guests and residents are welcome to continue the celebration at the Independence Day Festival.

Independence Day Celebration at Night Heron Park

Celebrate Independence Day at Night Heron Park on Kiawah Island with an evening of festive, family-friendly fun following the Annual Bike Parade. From 6 to 9 PM, guests and residents can enjoy live music, carnival games, inflatables, crafts, a photo booth, food, and holiday attractions throughout the park.
Festival highlights include the Annual Watermelon Eating Contest at 7 PM, a performance by Kyle K’Otic Breakdancing Crew at 7:30 PM, and fireworks at 9:15 PM on the Night Heron Soccer Field.
Admission to the festival is complimentary, and no reservations are necessary. Food will be available until 9 PM, with prices ranging from $5 to $20 and a cookout menu inspired by traditional holiday favorites. Select attractions and crafts will range from $3 to $15. Tickets will be available at the park starting at 4 PM and during the event.
Please note that this event, as well as gate access during this time, is limited to Kiawah Island guests and residents. Pets should be left at home during the fireworks for their comfort and safety. Drones are prohibited in Night Heron Park, and coolers are not permitted at any Fourth of July event....
