This second-floor Tennis Club villa has been lovingly updated and boasts hardwood flooring, an open kitchen, and comfortable furnishings. The living room has vaulted ceilings, abundant natural light, a queen sleeper sofa, and access to the screened porch. The renovated kitchen is fully equipped for preparing your vacation meals! Enjoy captivating tennis views while dining at the adjacent kitchen table.

A peaceful retreat, the bedroom features a king-sized bed, wall-mounted TV, and ample closet space. The renovated hall bathroom offers a bathtub/shower combo.

Sip your morning coffee or enjoy an evening cocktail on the lovely screened porch. This area overlooks the tennis courts and provides cozy seating and a ceiling fan to keep cool.

The villa is equipped with washer, dryer, and high speed wireless internet.

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $150. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

This rental exceeded our already-high expectations. The condo looked nice in the pictures, but we honestly were surprised to find that it looked even nicer in person in our opinions. The interior was pristine, spacious, and very nicely decorated. The living and dining rooms have a nice view both of the tennis courts and Kiawah's natural beauty. The neighborhood was very quiet, even with it being back up against the tennis courts. Parking was more than ample. This rental is a <10min walk to the Market and <20min walk to the Nature Center. We stayed here for the marathon and it was about as convenient as it could have been - about a 7min walk to packet pickup and the finish line, which made for a stress-free race morning. The kitchen was stocked with everything we'd need for cooking and eating. Check-in was extremely simple, absolutely no hassle. We loved our stay and definitely recommend this location.

Outstanding amenities and location. Condo in ideal condition and very clean. Appreciated the added touches like stocked kitchen, smart TVs with cable, bath towels, coffee, ironing board, dish soap, laundry soap, and comfy deck chairs. Walkable to The Sanctuary, Tennis Club, Turtle Point, and beaches. Will definitely return in the future.

Perfect Tennis/Vacation Spot

Welcoming, Relaxing, clean!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at his lovely Tennis Villa. Newly renovated, comfortable, and clean! Thank you to the owners for sharing your place! (Only 2 recommendations- fix kitchen lighting so it doesn’t dim and brighten like a strobe light, and new, weighted shower curtain liner so shower water doesn’t spray outside of tub.)

Perfect vacation rental

This was the best rental we have ever stayed in. Zero complaints. Nicely decorated and very clean. Kitchen is well equipped for making meals. Porch is very comfortable. If you like tennis it’s fun to watch everyone playing. If you play tennis it’s perfect having the courts right there. The location is convenient to everything. Bike paths all over we just would have liked to have a map!

Great place for a working retreat

We rented 4740 Tennis Club for two weeks to change the scenery after nearly a year of working from home during the pandemic. The one-bedroom villa is cozy and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, a small but functional washer dryer combo, and a screened balcony that was a nice breezy retreat in the evenings. The beach was just a short pleasant walk away, and we were able to amble over and watch the sunset each night. Our remote working setup took over the dining room table, so finding a place to eat our meals was a bit of a scramble, but we made things work. All in all, a great little getaway.

Great getaway!

The villa was nicely furnished, only a few bugs that managed to find their way in, but I think that is just the environment. My only complaints aren't against Akers Ellis, but against the fact that the buildings are difficult to figure out what units are where (poor signage) and that the beach gear wasn't very good.

Superb Accommodations!!!

This was our umpteenth trip to Kiawah Usland but my first time staying at Tennis Club Villas. This unit has won me over. It was well equipped and beautifully decorated. I've always preferred a lagoon view but must admit the views of all the tennis courts were pristine. There was enough room for us both to feel like we got away and the screened in porch was quite welcoming. I loved it so much I want to buy my own unit now. Thanks for the inspiration and until I do purchase, I will return to your lovely home away from home.

great view of tennis courts

we really enjoyed our 2 weeks here. place was very warm and welcoming when we arrived, lights on and music playing. it was clean and we had no issues. the Vacay Gear was an added plus. have stayed there before and would happily return.

An Excellent Spring Break

This unit is spotless. All the equipment and furniture are in excellent condition, everything works. Screened Porch has limited view of tennis court, a lot of trees for privacy. Very good location, 3 minutes walk to Market at Town Center, 5 minutes walk to the beach, bike path is across from the unit. We had a great time staying at this unit. We will be renting this again in the future.

Awesome Getaway at Kiawah Island

4740 Tennis Club Villa was perfect for our getaway! The villa was clean,beautifully decorated,and was in close proximity to the beach, bike trails,tennis courts, and the Sanctuary. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware to prepare meals. It would have been great if the villa had board games and/or other items such as beach chairs and tennis rackets. Dinner at the Ryder Cup Bar was delicious and we enjoyed restaurants at Freshfield's Village.All Kiawah staff are very friendly and courteous. We will absolutely return to 4740 Tennis Club Villa in the near future!

Island Oasis

4740 Tennis Club Villa is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The unit lives bigger than is square footage. It's quiet screened porch situated in the treetops, overlooks Roy Barth Tennis Center and the Adult Pool. It is conveniently located, which means just a quick bike ride to the beach, many popular amenities and the Sanctuary Hotel. The property is well maintained, clean and cozy. It is an updated unit that has a bathtub, which is great for soaking those tired muscles after a long day of tennis or other activities. The wifi is fast. The TV channel selection is terrific. The French Open had just begun the weekend I stayed. It was great to be able to watch it. Many other properties don't provide such a luxurious selection of channels or fast wifi. Akers-Ellis does a great job of communicating with their clients and provides excellent service throughout your stay. I highly recommend the 4740 Tennis Club Villa. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for a quiet, relaxing, couple's getaway!!!

We found this rental to be exactly as pictured and described online. It was charming and suited our needs perfectly. Our only negative comment would be that the mattress was not great. We found the condo spotless, well equipped, tastefully decorated and located in a convenient spot on the island. We rented bikes the day we arrived and completely enjoyed our daily rides on the beach and throughout the island. Fabulous vacation - we hated to leave! We would highly recommend this rental - perfect for a couples getaway.
