How far in advance should I book a Kiawah Island vacation rental?

Kiawah Island is a wonderful place to visit all year round. With beautiful surroundings and a mild climate, visitors enjoy the island throughout all months. During peak season, booking 6-8 months in advance is recommended to secure the perfect rental for you!

Are rentals located near the beach?

The Island is 13 miles long with 10 miles of the beach. Therefore, all vacation rentals on Kiawah Island are in close proximity to the beach. Oceanfront and ocean view properties are closest to beach access, and other rentals in Kiawah Island communities are just a short walk or bike ride away. (There is very limited public parking near the beach, so we advise walking or biking.)

Parking is available at Kiawah Island rentals. Number of available parking spaces will depend on the specific rental (see property details for more information). All visitors must receive a parking pass to stay on the Island.
